He's been sitting in UGA's coaching bench for a while now. Good for him to get back in a starting lineup.

He's been a UGA "defensive analyst" for the last two seasons after being a co-DC for us for 2 years before that and a special teams coach in 2021.

Honestly it's been awesome for UGA to have a coach of that caliber effectively available to "sub in" if needed.

Lots of reporting it’s legit.

I am assuming PK wanted to go home back to the north east cause he definitely wouldn’t be fired, unless him and sark or someone high up had a falling out. He was and is a great DC

I was hoping that whenever Schu leaves we'd just plug Muschamp right in.

Either Sark is drunk again, he is panicking, or he really is off to the NFL.

BMF could be a good hire for Sark

That would be terrifying for the rest of the SEC.

Muschamp is a home run hire any way you slice it.

He's a back stabbing back biting cancer on whatever he touches.

He's also a paranoid schizophrenic imho. He sees eyes looking over his shoulder when no one is there.

lmao Pete was 10x the coach sark is....perhaps sark got tired of being upstaged by his DC.

What a fricking moron sark is. Our defense was not the problem.

yeah. If sark wanted to get rid of the problem coordinator he should have fired himself as OC.

He's a good DC. I'm sure Texas will appreciate having him.
Has everyone forgotten he was our DC last time we played for a natty? Lol

That said, he was one of our better DC's for sure. Seems head coach wasn't his forte, (or he never found the right fit) but I do feel good about him leading our defense.

lmao SC and AU have a way of making great coaches look shitty. As another example see current Broyles award finalist mike bobo.

At some point people need to realize maybe the coach isn't the problem but the program..

I can get behind this. I really don't understand why he doesn't give Milwee a shot at calling from the booth? Nobody knows Sark's offense better other than Sark himself, and he would still retain veto power via headset if he wants it.

Something is up.

Based on actual performance on the field, PK as a DC has been > Sark as an OC at Texas.

Maybe PK did something unrelated to football. Anything is possible. My theory.....a lot of big $ donors are super pissed after spending like crazy on players just to see OU, aggie and tx tech in the playoffs while we play a meaningless exhibition against an imploding Michigan team.

Boom will boom. And Boom as a DC is his best boom, imo.

Good hire by T3xas.

I don’t understand this one at all. PK has been lights out. What an insane move.

Why would he fire the DC? He literally carried Texas this year
