So do I.

However, I also say Florida would be better if Brantley was playing.

With the talent WM inherited

This gets posted over and over and over.

What offensive talent? Please tell me which of our units you would trade for ours.

WR - nope, because we don't have a single WR that gets open consistently.
RB - nope, we have a bunch of tiny track guys and and injured Mike Gilislee.
QB - nope, Brantley is oft injured and the backups are true FR
OL - They are terrible in the new scheme for the most part
TE - nope, we don't have a true TE at the moment.

So, where is this talent that many keep mentioning that fits the pro-style offense that Boom and Charlie want to run.

In the GA game we took all of ONE snap from under center because Brantley couldn't move. WTH do you expect. Even with that we had a chance to win the game.

Losing to LSU, Bama and Auburn (on the road) should not have surprised a single person with a brain. The UG loss is the only one that really should not have happened and even that is very debatable because overall they have the better team.

So, tell me about all our talent on offense.

The D is young and very thin with regard to depth. I won't even talk about them.

Oh, and we have 67 scholarship players. Yeah, Meyer left the cupboard full.

It's not a knee jerk reaction. My opinion is based on ten years of observing Muschamp in action, including several years he was at LSU.

At the beginning of the season, Florida fans were predicting a rough transition, popular choice being 8-4. Almost all sensible Florida fans said that UF would be fine as long as there weren't big injuries in the secondary, offensive line, RB, or at QB.

Fast forward to Alabama - Florida is 4-0, and playing a competitive first half with a team that many think is one of the best in years. In a span of 30 minutes, two of Florida's most important offensive players, Jeff Demps and John Brantley are injured to the point where neither will be able to play at a healthy level for 4 weeks.

These injuries happened at the toughest stretch of the season. Combine that with Jeremy Brown - UF's best and most experienced corner - not playing a game all year because of some weird knee injury he suffered in fall camp, and then combine that with a couple of OL injuries - and well - most people would have predicted 0-for-October if they had known all of that in advance.

Muschamp has had TERRIBLE luck in his first year with injuries on a team that could not afford ANY important injuries.

The only thing that worries me is the #120 in penalties and #114 in turnover margin - which represent a lack of organization and discipline, but you would expect that with a first year coach. We'll see how things look next year.

If Brantley had not been injured, Florida would be 6-2 right now and we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

I know Auburn and UGA fans will obviously disagree with me, but if John Brantley had never been injured, UF is one game away against south carolina from winning the division.

Very few teams can survive the key injuries that Florida suffered this year, ESPECIALLY in a coaching transition of this magnitude.

Excellent point! It shows a lack of discipline that starts at the top. Constantly screaming at refs by the HC during the game does not instill discipline in players.

These same players were making the same mistakes and penalties last year as well. In fact, for some dumb reason UF has a history of being one of the most penalized teams going back to the 80s.

Still waiting for you to tell me about all our talent that Boom inherited.

So you take the one line that supports your point and ignore the rest......You're starting to act like a Bama fan.

It's my perception that Florida was ranked in the top 10 in recruiting every year during the last 3 or 4 years of Meyer's reign. I may be wrong about that and I don't feel like researching it, but if I'm correct, are you seriously blaming Meyer for not signing top quality players as the reason for Florida's collapse this season?

I agree with this. In the UG game he toned it down a lot. Does he get credit for that?

As I wrote above, didn't Florida rank in the top 10 (maybe even top 5) in recruiting every year over the past 3 or 4 years?

If so, I think my point about Florida's talent level is valid. Muschamp may not be able to coach the talent properly, but I believe the talent is there......

Small/fast players are suited best for a spread offense, which Meyer ran. Muschamp is switching to a Pro style, which needs larger/stronger players, which we currently have few to none.

How can you claim to understand Football but you don't understand this?

If you're correct, then yes, he gets credit. But my perception is he still complained to the refs quite a bit during that game. I admit I didn't watch the entire game but I do remember at least one tirade that I saw him make.

Why not answer the question? Which of our units would you trade for?

Would you like Demps and Rainey running the ball in your offense? Would you like any of our receivers except for Andre Debose? Would you like any of our QBs to play for you against Bama? How about our OL against Bama again?

So, ignore the stars for a moment and tell me, who do you want to trade for? Stars don't mean chit and you know it. It's the play on the field. These guys were not recruited for the pro-style game. If you aren't blind you can see that.

I'm a tad nervous about Boom. He wasn't my first choice but I don't get a vote. I will support him and criticize him when needed. Right now he has my support and I'm critical of his ranting and some of his decisions. However, we are so piecemeal it's tough to say he'll be good or bad in 3-4 years. Texas wanted him. We got him. That's two of the top teams in the country that seemed to think he was worth a shot.

He yelled at a ref once, when a PI was called on us, after two were missed on UGA.
