The butter-teethed shark fricker was pretty insufferable. Florida sure knows how to pick em. At least Spurrier was funny with his jabs and actually won stuff, and so did Meyer. Dunno who Mullen and McElwain think they are, just reeks of insecurity when it comes from them.

The most hated coach of my lifetime was Spurrier at his height. All anyone said was that he was symbolic of everything that was wrong with college football. Younger people that didn’t live through it will never fully appreciate it.
25 years on and his image has had a complete 180. Now people act like they always liked him, even my family members who I know for a fact hated his arse. “Oh he’s funny”. “Auburns library burned and they hadn’t colored in half the books yet, hurhur”, etc. Yeah, no, they couldn’t stand him.
Think of Dan Mullen, and add wit, consistent wins, bragging, and mocking.

I still think Spurrier was and is a tool. Overrated a bit as he was touted as a GOAT. That never panned out.
