Was Fulmer really hated outside of Alabama?
I don't remember anyone as universally loathed as Mullen. He hasn't even won anything of note. Normally that's a prerequisite for widespread disdain (see, e.g., Meyer, Saban, Spurrier). Dan has managed to engender widespread hatred that is NOT a product of kicking arse.
