I really Like Mullen.

I think He’s a great hire

I think You’ll be better coaches right away but your QB talent there is fricking terrible.

Felipe Franks isn’t good. I remeber Talking myself into his noodle arm when he was LSUs commit but he sucks.

It's only idiotic to blind thUGA fans, such as yourself. The comparison is pretty dang similar to everyone else.

Total yards: 438 vs. 270
Rushing yards: 242 vs. 43

I guess I more so meant the game was never really in much doubt and we were physically superior.

Almost double the amount of first downs, way more total yards, a 242-43 advantage in rush yards, and a 17 minute advantage in TOP.

UGA 2017 vs. rest of SEC East: 247-72

I don't think he'll fall by the wayside either. The proof will be if and when UF/TN get their shite together. I think part of the reason why the West became what it was for the last 10 years is because Bama/AU/LSU were pushing and beating up on each other hard.

The East is one man show right now. So I'd expect UGA to win it this year, too. AGAIN -- looking at you Tennessee. Get your shite together. The SEC is better when all the Big 6 are competitive.

Can you explain to us how it's similar? The only similarity that exists is that both won the east when they were perceived to be down.

Kirby actually won the SEC though, played for the natty, has recruited elite nationally, has established a proven system that works, and is showing no signs of slowing down. Mac always had atrocious offenses, never had a QB, had flat out embarrassing losses, and never really threatened to make any real noise nationally.

frick did this turn into a UGA fap thread?

Probably because some guy was dumb enough to imply that uf 2015/16 was as good as uga 2017.

He looked so bad in high school all star games and when we watched his high school games, I remember thinking "man, he's not very good at throwing the football".

He's a major, major project, but Mullen has proven he can win with an athletic QB that has good size, but poor throwing ability. That's almost his bread and butter. So this will be an interesting transition for Franks, he's got to be happy he's got a coach that can work with his skill set.

I know spring games don't mean anything, but Florida looked pretty bad. Interested to see how different they look in the fall.

We are hearing a lot of the same things at Arkansas after the players got into the new S&C program. Its under rated just how important having a good training program is in the SEC. Everyone is going to have talented athletes. You need to have talented athletes performing at peak fitness levels to compete.

I don't expect that much from Florida or Arkansas next year because I think it will take at least a year to get the players in top shape and fix the bad habits.

I think Mullen has to give that program an enema and rebuild before they'll be contenders, but that can happen in a year. This year might be pretty rough for them during this culture change, but next year they should be good IMO. Mullen is a damn good coach.

I think you're probably right. They always were in a unique situation from a recruiting standpoint when compared to UA, AU, UF, UGA, and LSU. They need a miracle to recapture that domination.

Yes and No. Florida has been getting classes right outside of the top 10. There is more than just fitness problems with that program. Its mind blowing actually.

Year National Rank Conference Rank
2018 14 4
2017 11 5
2016 12 6
2015 21 10
2014 9 7
2013 3 2
2012 3 2

* Recruiting has fallen, but damn. I wish we had the ability to get those classes.
