Not really, he made the statements in a public forum, not in a private message.

And lastly, but perhaps of equal importance; how often do you click on topics that aren't original in order to comment on them.

Lee asking for a job at South Panola is like Ross Barnett applying for the dean at Jackson St. It would never happen.

No grounds lol. He publicly bashed the school on the internet because they have had a few players go to Ole Miss, and wonders why he doesn't have a job there? It would be silly to file a lawsuit over a problem that he started

Coach34 is not your average message boarder.

These are the kinds of second-rate stunts that will forever keep the state of Mississippi mired in mediocrity.
If the candidate was willing to apply for the job opening, and the hiring agent felt he was the most qualified applicant, hire the guy.
Allowing emotions to negate that decision is amateurish at best.

This is a little dramatic, I'm sure there is no drama in TX High School football hirings and firings*

South Panola is all Ole Miss, always has been. I don't know him personally, but judging by his general demeanor on message boards, the only reason Coach34 would possibly take a job there is to attempt some coup or to try to unearth some kind of Ole Miss recruiting impropriety. Not saying he would have been successful, but he definitely would have tried.

South Panola made the right call, IMO.

This is akin to a christian school hiring a girl as a teacher who was also on a girls gone wild commercial/video

He went to JC with the coach. Coach was doing a buddy a favor until he realized the buddy was way to much of a headache. Pulls offer. He didn't apply and become the most qualified. He hasn't coached in like 8 years and was an assistant middle school coach when he did.

This is the most successful school in MS football history. Trust me. There were more qualified applicants.

I fail to see the problem here.

Actually Lee and Pogue were friends from the past. He was looking to fill a spot and knew C34 had coaching experience. Pogue did not know of all the C34 exploits on the Internet, because some people do not really care about social media or follow it (life was better back then).

When Lee's alternate lifestyle was brought to their attention, it was deemed they should part ways.

I do not really feel bad for Lee, he is an arse. This however is a great learning experience for some of you younger people. You online actions can follow you into the real world and is a valid reason for termination or passing on you as a candidate.

There is no case for any lawsuit. If Wooldridge tried, he would get blackballed from ever coaching again. He is looking to coach again.

You have to admit, though. Coach34 coaching at South Panola would have made great television. All parties involved missed out on a reality show paycheck.

Good question. It appears as though we've stumbled upon the first instance of an applicant receiving favorable treatment because of their relationship with the hiring manager. Wow, what a historic day this is.
