No fan sites here. A blowout loss to Toledo while Ole Miss was in the playoff convo was the bigger eye opener for your money boys.
If you think Selmon has organized much then you may have missed the absolute scramble it was to keep Taylor at the end.

John Sharp had everything to do with facilitating the absolutely ludicrous contract that was offered to Jimbo. Don’t put all of it on Bjork. Our donors and BOR are retards when it comes to investing money in coaches. They have more power and influence than our AD does when it comes to hiring coaches.

A blowout loss to Toledo was because of a year of forced coaching dumbassary after the death of one of the most beloved coaches in the nation. And a slew of injuries, including the starting quarterback, at razor thin positions.
And then the replacement hit the ground running very late in the game without time to address pretty much any problems whatsoever all the while losing transfers during the vacancy.
He gets one off-season and then we go from a blowout to Toledo to beating the big 12 champs a year removed. And also playing competitive ball with highly ranked teams SEC teams this year.
It wasn’t some magical wake up call. It was reality,

What is it about ADs? Seems they're mostly sleaze. I think we actually have a decent one (Trev Alberts) who keeps a relatively low profile.
Maybe 'cause he's from Nebraska, a linebacker, and he played in the League. We'll see.

We were glad to give him to yall. Things have been much better since he left. As for his wife shes a little different as is the same for Cohen's kid.

Cohen didn't leave town for political reasons. He left for a pay raise at a better athletic department. He got no traction when trying to raise money for NIL at MSU. To be fair, I don't think he's a particularly good AD but he does at least aim high in his pursuit of coaches. Leach at MSU, Kiffin at Auburn, hired two coaching staffs that contributed to the first national championship of any sport at MSU, and hired Chris Jans.
Firstly, I couldn't imagine knowing (or rather, think that I know) much of anything about ole miss, or anyone else's program like this. It's rather bizarre, but you're a sports bro so I digress. Secondly,
quote:Is about as far as I needed to read - even after going through your little virtue signal about parades celebrating which holes you take your cocks in. This is a laughably retarded statement.
He got no traction when trying to raise money for NIL at MSU.
quote:Well that's news to us. From gay parades to "aiming high," this entire post shouts his supposed accolades from the rooftops. What, then, is the point of the post? We all know, little bro. We all know.
To be fair, I don't think he's a particularly good AD
quote:Leach was his last resort, and he and Leach were not on good terms. Do you not understand how deranged of a lunatic you must be in order to be the one person in the country who doesn't get along with Mike Leach? He hired Leach because he had to, not because he wanted to.
Leach at MSU
quote:I'm sorry, what? When did this happen? Or are we still talking about his supposed ability to, "shoot for the stars"?
Kiffin at Auburn
quote:We could absolutely claim a couple from the 40s, but we're not desperate like Auburn (and to be fair, we certainly aren't co-western division champs, either), but I guess claiming another baker's dozen championships is another example of Cohen aiming big? The championship was won in spite of Lemon and Cohen not because of them. You failed to mention his first hire, too, was an utter failure. Last I checked (admittedly not as much as an autistic AD savant like yourself) he's fighting for scraps on some obscure high school baseball dirt circuit. If anything, Cohen crippled Lemonis's ability to sustain his program because he didn't want to partake in NIL.

quote:One for 50 doesn't cut it. You old chuds still think the crowning jewel for how good an AD is performing is his coaching hires. Give a middling X's and O's coach with a good work ethic a blank check and you'll see instant results. Nine out ten times, hiring coaches is a crap shoot, and the meat and potatoes is done by outside firms.
hired Chris Jans
quote:Source? Since you're so in tune with all other athletic programs? Yes sir, Auburn football is absolutely killing it nowadays.
He helped get the Auburn big wigs to finally commit some money to help Hugh in year 3 though it may be too little too late for Hugh.
This loser mentality of him "trying real hard and aiming real high" is some sort of mickey mouse made up bullshite. The man was an abhorrent AD, an almost worse person with no redeeming qualities, a cheap bastard with a wife who wouldn't STFU about gays and trannies (we don't care lady, get out of our face), and was on his way to being fired. You wanted to do a little virtue signaling and hate.
Now blow.

Yes, I'm not bothered by a gay pride parade as much as you seem to be. I must be gay. There's no other explanation.
You can read my other posts for responses to the rest of your post as they've already been quoted and responded to. My "source" on Auburn is them opening up the pockets in the portal this year. No inside sources there, just not retarded.

Absolute dog shite AD.
He aways thought he was the smartest guy in the room.
He and Leach were not on good terms because Leach was a logical human being (and actually smart) and Cohen can't have that with his trans daughter running around.
He was a penny pincher and basically said to hell with NIL putting us far behind the curve to where we're just now catching up, but with a last name of Cohen, it shouldn't be a surprise he didn't want to spend any money.
Well, if the yarmulke fits.........

You have no idea what you're talking about, son.
Our NIL was sailing before the Toledo loss compared to where Cohen's sorry arse left it. Cohen left it, essentially, where it was the day it was announced collectives were allowed. He wanted no part of it. We didn't all of a sudden start spending money after Toledo.
What in the world.
I'm embarrassed for you. It's so cringe when mega fans do this with other programs. You're being little bro'ish. This is a bad look, even for you. Yikes.

Cannizaro is likely what you got the natty. He was a shithead but he stocked the cupboard so well that even Lemonis couldn't frick it up. State was a media darling when they hired Moorhead. Hindsight is 20/20 but that was widely regarded as a great hire when it happened.
State's aversion to NIL 100% contributed to Cohen leaving. It took Selmon two years to get any meaningful contributions and it's still the lowest in the conference. Your fans have had to be dragged kicking and screaming into the new era and you know it. Again, I don't think he's a great AD but to act like he was the worst thing to happen to MSU like several fans seem to be doing is just incorrect. He was an average director at a below average department and if State doesn't pony up for Lebby, you'll get to see Selmon's real hiring chops sooner th
Oh look, another Ole Miss cocksucker who thinks he knows more about State than State fans. Get out of here with your shite.

It's honestly not hard to do. State is pretty simple, and State's fans are generally more simple than that.

You're being called out because you don't know what the frick you're talking about, and you're making a fool of yourself. You haven't even made logical sense. You write a love letter to Cohen and boast of his incredible ability to organize pride parades and try super duper hard to hire coaches, then you say you don't think he's a very good AD (and apparently not, because according to you, he failed to get traction with NIL), and then you make up more bullshite about him wringing Auburn bag men for every last cent for incredible results. You contradict yourself because you're not here to talk facts, you're hear to act like a little bro.
It'll do you well in life to keep your moth shut about things of which you don't know. That's a trait of a fool. Now get back to the homer board and whack off to your supposed, "new," online fan.
