Dear Howland and now Jans: If you can’t shoot, you can’t shoot. Shooting matters. I know coaches like the aspects they can control, but shooting matters. Look for that in your recruits.

Regardless of how this ends, I’m heartened by their play in the 2nd half. Our guards can’t shoot, but they are athletic with good handles. If they will slash and drive like this more consistently, we might win some more games this year.

These guys are long, tall, physical, athletic, but they can't shoot for shite. Not from 3, not from inside the arc, not from the line. They are gonna be the tallest, most athletic frickers working 9-5 soon.

Auburns offense these last four minutes has not been spectacular.

We have shot 30% from 3 in conference play until tonight. Of course we finally make FTs but can’t make a damn 3. We win easily if we shot 25% from 3 tonight
It’s just like we can’t quite put all of it together. Like the announcer said it’s a confidence problem we don’t look confident shooting at all

Confidence is contagious. Could be an interesting team if we are able to start knocking down some of these shots.
