But it comes down to them wanting to limit the SEC host sites. And that midweek loss to a pretty terrible team didnt help.

It’s literally just the committee trying to spread out host sites and scared to put too many SEC teams in
There’s zero reason to put some of those teams ahead of State as hosts. Not if your going strictly by resume

Both MSU and Duke had resumes good enough to host. They are instead strong number twos in weaker regions. Worked out for them
