Moving on to 2021 - what do you think the season will look like?

- Will spring practice happen? Spring games?

- Will we play the normal slate of games as scheduled?

- Will stadiums be full - if not, what kind of capacity?

- Will a portion of good players opt-out or will that prove to be a COVID year hiccup?

I just hope they let us watch football in the re-education camps.

Part of me wants to see players like Chase drop in the draft to keep opt outs from becoming a common practice.

Definitely. If we can play a season, we can have spring practice.

50/50

Will probably depend on the conference. Can see anywhere from 25-75%

This one is the hardest to answer. Is this going to become more common as a matter of course, or was covid a convenient excuse?

Will spring practice happen? Spring games?

I think so. This past season shows it can, and should be done.

- Will we play the normal slate of games as scheduled?

Yes but there will be cancelations.

- Will stadiums be full - if not, what kind of capacity?

Probably similar to last year. 20 to 40 percent for most. 90 percent for aTm.

- Will a portion of good players opt-out or will that prove to be a COVID year hiccup?

I doubt there will be nearly as many opt-outs now that there is less mystery about Covid-19.

I could see the practice of guys “opting out” after their team falls out of contention becoming a thing like guys skipping “meaningless” bowl games. I hope not, but that precedent has been set.

Lots of vaccines by September.

I think it’s more normal.

Probably attendance if you are vaccinated.

At least 9 would be nice. Saban was the only coach who voted for a permanent 9-game SEC schedule back in 2013.

With Biden/Harris I expect whatever it takes to crush the economy, so a repeat of this year or worse.

Our new government will pass laws requiring at least 2 females and 2 minorities on the field for each team for all plays. The targeting rule will not be fixed, it will be expanded to include all tackling, and the penalty will increase to from simple ejection to also include personal cancellation of your future via social media shaming.

I think any significant return to normalcy will depend on how effective we are in getting people vaccinated and in how effective the vaccine is. And early returns on the process of getting people vaccinated isn't all that great so far. Sadly, I see no hope for a normal baseball season, but maybe by September we can at least pack stadiums to create a fun environment. SEC football without rabid fans is just sad.

I'll play

Yes, and yes but with fan restrictions.

For the most part, there will be some cancellations.

No, I'm guessing between 50-75%.

Opting out when you fall out of contention will become the norm.

Not sure but I am sure Georgia fans will spend the next seven months declaring 2021 is their year...
