You sound like someone who got rick roll’d.

Also, I said ‘I assume’. I didn’t make any guarantees about that being the source.

Interesting! Could you explain what that sounds like for those of us who haven’t experienced it?

Try being a South Carolina booster for a year and you’ll swear you got a condom stuck up your butt with a post-it note from Ray Tanner saying “thanks for your money you shitheel”

I think Alabama has 12 alone in the Saban era. Pretty remarkable.

I am surprised 1998 Kansas State isn’t listed.

They finished 11-2 and ranked #10 in the AP that season.

I didn't realize The Associated Press didn't crown LSU National Champions in 2003. That's crazy!

If you think about it purely from an overall population standpoint, there are only going to be 3-4 teams a year that even fit the criteria of Top 5 team that also loses.

So the total available population of wins for teams to get is what.............200? 250?

I haven’t checked, but I don’t believe that got a second. Even if they lost their bowl, they would not have fallen to 10.

They lost their bowl game to a 4 loss Purdue team. The final 1998 AP Top 12

1. Tennessee
2. Ohio State
3. Florida State
4. Arizona
5. Florida
6. Wisconsin
7. Tulane
8. UCLA
9. Georgia Tech
10. Kansas State
11. Texas A&M
12. Michigan
