Since 2000 OSU has a pair of national titles, a handful of runner-ups, and 10+ conference championships.

They’ve essentially had the same results as USC, despite having 34 more draft picks. The difference in draft picks between OSU and USC is roughly the same as the difference between USC and Virginia Tech or Iowa.

I think we've let the dynasties of 'Bama in CFB and the Pats in the NFL warp our idea of what success means or what it even should be.

I agree with this 100%.

It’s not all about national championships too. Dominating the B1G and Michigan has surely been nice for the Bucks.

UGA would need like 12 or 13 this year to pass LSU.

If anything that list shows me that Clemson has well overachieved.

Ohio State - 2 titles, played in 3 others
Bama - 6 titles, played in 3 others
LSU - 3 titles, played in another
Florida - 2 titles

The only other team with multiple titles in that span is Clemson with 2 titles and 2 more appearances and they're not even on the list.

Yeah, I don't see this as Ohio State underachieving. I bet if you dig into those title games a little more and pull out the SEC-SEC matchups, you'll find that for SEC teams, or west teams at least, it's harder to get to the championship game than it is to win it, and for all other conferences, it's easier to get to the game than it is to win it.

I believe Kiper had 17 draft eligible players with NFL draft grades.A couple are coming back and it also included Adam Anderson.

12 or 13 is a strong possibility

Would be interesting to see average recruiting class ranking added for each school for the same time frame.

Ohio State may be among the most under-achieving programs of all time.

They would need at least 14. A minimum of 5 LSU players will be drafted. Up to as many as 7 or 8.

I think 15 are legit possible draft picks, so 12 or 13 seems likely.

This will be the 3rd year in a row that the NC has the most players drafted and 4 outta the last 5.

Obviously a strong correlation.
