can't remember if it was Spurrier and his QB Steve Walsh (one year before 93), but Spurrier had offenses built around the philosophy of west coast Don Air Coryell, who was a disciple of Sid Gillman
(Bill Walsh was floating around out there when Spurrier was a no-name backup at the 49'ers btw)

I wouldn't argue too hard on Tebow, as he predates Cam and did it longer.
