Yeeeep. I vividly remember yelling at the TV about how terrible it was. For a Vandy fan, having the chance to win an away game against a highly ranked opponent over something like that was a slap in the face.

Most thought they would win if McCoy was in the entire game.

Not me. I thought, Saban went into his prevent offense in the 2nd quarter due to Colt being injured, but I always thought Bama would win.
Most infamous is 1/9 due to everything surrounding it. LSU and Auburn have had several as well.

also, the Auburn/A&M this year where Manziel was horsecollared on a play he otherwise would have scored on with about 30 seconds left.

I've watched this several times and I still don't think it is a horse collar. Anyway, nothing to get too worked up about.

Auburn is up 11-6. And they’re driving. They’re on Georgia’s 20, about to score again. The game is in the bag. Except the ref, some joker named Referee Rowbotham, takes it out of the bag and shoots it in the head. The dude called the game on account of darkness.
With 30 seconds left.
Auburn 0, Georgia 0

Actually 1992, Auburn at the one lined up with 6 seconds to go, UGA players sitting down as instructed by there coaches, refs should have stopped the clock for delay.

The fans carried the goal posts down to Dickson Street and put it up against a bar

Went to a UA auction several years back and that goalpost was one of the things sold.

Obvious abuse of Aaron Murray but Nick Fairley in the Auburn vs Georgia game 2010.

"Infamous"? 5 pages and no mention of 2010 LSU/Tennessee too many men on the field?

C'mon Vols, wake up!

Even if the pass in the 1995 Alabama-Arkansas game didn't bounce, that still doesn't change the fact that Arkansas had 12 men on the field.

Shay Hodge making a spectacular catch despite Bama's best efforts to cheat, then getting a horseshite call to bring it back to the line of scrimmage. That.

My parents spent several c-notes on tickets to the '08 SECCG and watched Tebow rip the season away from Alabama.

I took my son (who at the time was a huge Gator fan) and two of his buddies (also Gator fans) to the '08 game. Even though UA lost, it was a heckuva weekend.

Especially since Meyer waited until the next week to suspend him.

I'm a Bama fan, and I'm inclined to agree. I watched the video - I see 5 OL, 1 QB, 3 WR and 2 RB. People say there's a TE, but I watched as the play unfolds and there's no TE on the field.

Its definitely 11, not 12, but I thought the controversy for the 12 men was before this play. this play was the trapped ball controversy
