As far as Bama fans, their shitheads are more plentiful and louder than other fanbases', but the ones I associate with are awesome and I always have a blast in Tuscaloosa. Theirs is a base of extremes. They have a great base as well.

You want to talk about shitty fans.. I was at Vaught Hemingway stadium in 2005 where bama pulled out the win. As the guys were leaving the field your fans pelted them with trash and even shoes.
Every fanbase has shitty fans and Forrest Gump was a great character.

Some Alabama fans came and tore down all the flags and signs my mom hung up in our tents and knocked most of our food off the tables before we were able to get back from the game. My Aunt was the only one there and she got scared and left. I never mentioned it before because I didn't see the need, but there were some seriously butthurt tide fans after that game. I usually get along better with Alabama fans more so than most other fanbases though, but I'm usually around the grads.

I have been going to LSU games for over 30 yrs now and I have never seen visitors treated poorly. I am sure it has happened but it is not the norm.
Hell, at the Moo State game this year the tailgate I went to was 50/50 MSU/LSU. We got hammered before the game then we got hammered...
