The one every SEC team besides Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, and LSU have played in this century.

2004 Oklahoma against USC. 2012 Notre Dame was overmatched against Alabama and the LSU-Bama game was at least competitive for 2.5 quarters. That '04 OU team had 11 players drafted in the following draft along with guys like Adrian Petersen and Davin Joseph. They were an immensely talented team and they just got absolutely obliterated by USC.

To be fair, there was nothing embarrassing about the LSU bend-but-don't break Defense in 2011/2012 against Alabama. The most they allowed in any quarter was 6 points. They gave up field goals and one td at the very end. Conversely, the offense was truly embarrassing. So to me, this award goes to a team that was a shitshow on both sides of the ball.

How?

They made it?

You would give your right nut to make one.

This right here. Arky, A&M, etc fans have no business in this thread.

Was it 2011 LSU or 2012 Notre Dame?

Of these 2 it's easily 2012 Notre Dame. That game was over in like 9 minutes. It was an extreme mismatch.

2011 LSU was shut out, but that game was competitive. Alabama kicked 5 field goals in that game, and all LSU needed was a TD to get back in it.

You might say the Alabama defense embarrassed the LSU offense that year, but LSU still had a good defense and stayed in it. Notre Dame didn't have shite on either side of the ball.

All Arkansas had to do to win a title was catch a easy foul ball.

What can be more embarrassing than that?

I know people like to clown Georgia with the 1980, but wasn't Arkie's last one in like the 60's? Maybe try BEING in a Natty game before talking trash about someone else's Natty resume. Especially a team who has WON 3 and played for a 4th in less than 20 years.

I was coming to say the two worst that I had seen were 2011 lsu and 2012 ND.

But we’d all be remiss if we didn’t mention 1996 Florida.

Notre Dame and it’s not even close. The Manti T’eo catfish story, the hype leading up to the game, the historic arse whooping, it was all so beautiful.

That was back when Mike and Mike was a highly rated show and ESPN was relevant. The whole year Golic was hyping up Notre Dame (his son played OL on the team). Every day I would listen to that dumbass rant and rave about how good that ND team was. I will never forget the dejected look on his face the next morning on Mike and Mike. Priceless.

Well, seeing as one of those teams could have actually won, and had literally done so against that very team earlier that year...

Forgetting 1971 Bama (lost 38-6).

They were #2 and would've been AP champs in 65 but got upset by LSU in the Cotton Bowl (AP #1 Sparty lost in the Rose Bowl).
