I wasn't, but I could hear the booing on TV and radio...most notably against Duke, where it was so loud that Eli had to raise his voice. They had to shut Snake's mic off because he was flipping out.

frick I forgot about the Duke game. What a miserable game. That may be an exception.

It happened several times during the Shula era. It was much louder on the radio than TV, though. I liked to listen to Bama games on the radio back then because Snake could never control himself. Dude was a trainwreck.

quote:No, it didn't. I was there. Booing was not common at ALL. Even when Zow threw 5 picks and we lost to UCF, there was not a lot of booing.

Radio must've had problems with the feed or something. I was there at the games

Now!
Every time I see a boneheaded post from a so called Missouri fan it makes me cringe. Ref the "Mizzou Meltdown" thread as case in point.
Crap like that makes Mizzou fans look like a bunch of whiny momma's boys. I'm here to say it ain't so! For most of us anyway.
The line is "Act like you've been there before" and it's way too obvious several here haven't.
Go Tigers!

Several times in four years isn't common, but it definitely happened more than once. I remember booing during Arkansas, and State games as well.

My friend used to date an Auburn fan who mocked Alabama for booing Julio every time he came on the field.

Plenty of booing during Bana's loss to La Tech.

Pretty embarrassing someone would spend time making a youtube video of that.
I would have to say for Florida it was probably Nebraska or the '09 SEC championship and the whole Meyer aftermath.

School: Pretty much everything Mike McKinney did as chancellor between when Dr. Gates became the secretary of defense and when he was finally ousted in July of 2011.
Team: 0-77 actually is not the worst Aggie Football embarrassment I've witnessed. That was a loss to the #2 team in the country. I would rank these as lower moments.
-Loss to USL (what later became UL-Lafayette) to start the 1996 season 0-2. It doesn't matter that their QB was Jake Delhomme or that they had Brandon Stokely. It is still UL-Lafayette's ONLY win over a ranked opponent.
-Loss to Colorado in 2000. Gary Barnett took the buffalo logos off the helmets because his team was playing so badly to start the season 0-4. R.C. Choke 'em managed to lose a 22-game home winning streak to an 0-4 team.
-Arkansas State 2008. Already discussed. Just the first of many blown double digit halftime leads under Sherman.
-Iowa State 2005. This game was the game that should have gotten Franchione fired. It was the only time Iowa State ever beat A&M. It was the first and only time that A&M allowed a 300 yard passer, a 100 yard rusher, and a 200 yard receiver in the same game. In the second half, Iowa State converted the following third downs:
-3rd and 20: 21 yard rush
-3rd and 7: 53 yard TD pass
-3rd and 3: 24 yard pass
-3rd and 2: 10 yard run
-3rd and 7: 19 yard TD pass
-3rd and 10: 16 yard pass
-3rd and 8: 63 yard TD pass
During that stretch, Iowa State was 7 for 8 on third down conversions and turned a 14-7 game into a 42-14 game.
Fanbase? Pretty much anything and anyone having to do with those retarded shirts with the horns taped back on and those idiots rooting for the sips in the 2006 Rose Bowl.

LSU @ Ohio State yrs ago. The Buckeyes'fanbase is very upper class & dress to the max..picture the Grove's fans filling a 90,000 stadium but all older & wealthier. There is a huge student union in the middle of the campus that everyone goes to all morning long pre game, one main door. And semi passed out was your prototypical drunk cajun/corndog/swamprat LSU fan, dressed as only this type can...use your favorite image of a drunk LSU fan....right to the side of the main door. At 8:30 am. So, I assuming well over a 100,000 Ohio St. fans had their first glimpse of a "typical" LSU fan.

JJ was horrible ofcourse he was booed. I wouldnt boo a college player but he did deserve it from his play.
Fact about LSU fans - when you are good they let the team know it like no other fanbase, when they are bad they let the team know it...
That was the first play JJ was involved in that season.
