Our most embarrassing moment was a loss to ULM. Our second most was an epic shutout one week later on our own field. The third was losing to a Big East team the week after that. I expect several more to come along pretty soon...

I don't remember our attendance ever being shitty even in the Dark Ages 2000-2006. I don't remember booing our own team. The only thing I would say was the reaction after Fran left.

The list is long and horrific. Mostly filled with Walmart/sidewalk fans getting their sense of worth from the success of a school they can't even find on a map.

Unfortunately XM radio has been detrimental to the national perception of Bama fans.

The entire Coach Ray Goof era...so that covers 1989-1995. A couple of decent teams in the early 90's with Zeier, Hastings, and Hearst but that was it. Five points IIRC and two losses to UT and UF kept UGA from being undefeated in '92.
Losing to UF 18 times since 1990.
1998 loss to GT. Was in the stands in Athens that day. Georgia had won six or seven straight against Tech. UGA's '97 win was in dramatic style with Mike Bobo at QB. Anyhoo...UGA is up 19-7 at the begining of the 4th quarter only to wind up losing 20-19 IIRC.
Losing to USEc in 2000. Quincy Carter's five pick game.
Losing to UT in '07. Totally unfocused team pisses away a shot at NC by losing in Knoxville.
The Blackout cluster against UA in '08. Blackout, more like a knockout. 31-0 at the half.
The loss to UF in '08. When Brandon Spikes met Knowshon Moreno in the hole on the first play and stroked him I knew it was going to be a long, long day.
The loss to GT in '08. Up 28-12 at the half. Ugly, ugly, ugly second half.
2010 was ugly. Losing to Colorado and UCF are the lowest points in Richt's only losing season.

School - any major recruiting violation
Team - USC and GT losses in 2003, starting 1-3 this year, 36-0 in 08 iron bowl, and a few other.
Fan base - anytime idiots have rushed the field and torn down goal posts.

I'm only 22, so since I could know and understand football, LSU has been pretty good. For me, the national championship was pretty embarrassing. Bama was a great team but so were we and we just didn't look like normal. I thought Bama would win but I expected it to be a competitive game.

As a fan base? For me it was the 99 AU game where we came out looking like sheeot and were down 31-0 at half and our fans that were left were acting like drunk a-holes to the players.
