Can't argue with this...

I don't doubt they will have successful teams. I just feel they will not have the long term success they think is coming. To think Texas and Oklahoma will not get the best talent out of Texas is crazy. Kids don't care near as much about the sec vs the big 12 as fans think they do.
You need a history lesson on football in Texas. The whole reason the longhorns are so fricking butthurt is because they know they are about to get (are getting) their faces kicked in al a 1985-1995.

True, its Alabama then Florida.

There is really nothing to suggest that at the moment. Texas A&M could end up with a losing season, while Texas goes on to play in a BCS bowl.

Putting aside my bias, that's a pretty good list, Elleshoe. I'd probably move Mizzou up one spot, though.

Serious questuon, since I'm not that familiar with these two programs, but what makes Ole Miss/ State a better gig then Mizzou?

in state talent. if one of these schools could lock it down for the most part they'd be a damn good team.

But besides that, its kind of a niche in the agriculture department.. I'm sure they have a broad range of majors.. but still its not a traditional state type of school and that will always hurt it.
Only thing stupider than this thread is this comment. I'm assuming you're a 70 something that has never left the greater Branson area if you actually believe this.

A&M and Tenn are both better jobs than Auburn. Tenn is better than Georgia. South Carolina is better than Arkansas.

Yes, but they do not have the commitment towards being good in only football like Bama.
Posted on 9/18/12 at 7:46 pm to tiger perry
I'm a homer. But I'd put Mizzou ahead of Mississippi St.
