LSU got in iconic because Saban was. There for a brief time period.

In my day Miami would surely have been in the top group. Texas and LSU would have been in the second or third tier. Times change.

Auburn wanted Champion back.

I guess Nike is just ok. Big let-down AU.

Is this measured by merchandise sales?

Also relishing the fact that LSU is the only non-blue blood in the iconic list.

LSU - non blue blood, okay

Probably more natties than USC and Texas, maybe combined

Put lsu in massive and drop Miami to big brand and it’s pretty spot on

Not sure how they measured "brand" but LSU, Michigan and Texas should be second tier unless it's just apparel sales or something.

Otherwise...decent list.

Rebs have been mediocre for decades but I feel like the Grove would give them a big brand label if nothing besides they are elite for game day.

LSU has become at least borderline iconic with its run the last few decades. LSU was respectable prior to Saban but whether the squidbillies that hate lsu like it or not the brand has skyrocketed

What the hell is that 'iconic' brand on the lower left, that logo I don't even recognize? W-something?

LSU, Auburn, South Carolina and Mizzou should all be 1 level below where they are. Besides those schools everyone else in the SEC lines up well.

Auburn can’t be a massive brand, too many mascots. Waters it down.

I know you hate it but it doesn't change the fact that Texas A&M has a (yearly) top 10 revenue-generating athletic department.

And all those trophies to show for it.

I'll give you this, though: Nobody does milkmen like y'all. You definitely stand out.

Massive brand status: Confirmed
