You sure about that? You weren't competitive against us. What makes you think you would be able to beat another top ten team.

Last year? Probably win it. USC would be the only problem.

What game were you watching? Y'all won by 14 and we got in the redzone 3 times but shot ourselves in the foot. Didn't get any points from those trips.

we should quit the SEC now and go to the MAC - at least we'd leave with a little dignity

My point being that he and his staff coach the kids up well and get better performance than would be expected given their star rating out of high school.

Maybe, just maybe...at least in Pinkel's case stars don't mean shite.

Same was said about Patterson at TCU, how have his teams looked since moving from the MWC? They were winning 10 games or so a year, the difference between the TCUs, UCFs, and Boises of the world and Mizzou is those teams can get up and beat the favorite in their big game of the year.

The game I watched was never in question. I expected it to be tougher, but your team was not good and just rolled over.

2013? might have finished top 2 in the east due to all the injuries. OM unfortunately plays in this toughest div in sports

I remember hearing this same BS from Auburn fans in 2007 and 2008 when Alabama and LSU were running circles around them in terms of recruiting.

"Tubbs will take a two-star and coach 'em up to a four-star."

That worked well.

Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina all recruit well.

Hell, Kentucky smothered y'all on the recruiting trail this year. Outside of a perfect storm, once in a generation season, y'all are average, at best.

The "how would Ole Miss do in the East" question was assuming Ole Miss and Missouri switched divisions.

Y'all would be the only problem in the East. We more than likely don't win.

Ole Miss was not better than Mizzou (obviously, they were dominated at home) or USC. So maybe they'd have been 3rd.

The real reason Mizzou "won" the SEC East in 2013?

Florida and Georgia lost damn near 50% of their starters and went a combined 12-13.

Tubbs doesn't have that track record in development of players.

Few in BCS conferences do.

Pinkel, on the surface, does have the track record until you examine the schedules closer.
