Florida was playing 4 guards on the OL that game and it showed.

Mizzou had injuries to 5 of its top 7 OL in 2012, so yeah, I am saying that just is the case.

Sounds like you have poor depth. Our starting QB was one of the best QBs in the conference. Muschamp must be a poor recruiter.

Ask Auburn fans how our 2nd string QB looked in 2010.

Ask Bama how our 2nd string QB looked in 2013.

FIFY.

It's funny how LSU managed 17 points against the Florida D and then one week later our RS freshman QB making his first start tore you to shreds to the tune of 36. Injuries are injuries but that's a pretty massive differential for just one week and tough to make excuses for, not that the folks in this thread aren't trying.

It's also strange how, for all of Florida's woe is me injuries, only the national champion, FSU, scored more points (37) on the Florida D last year than Mizzou (36). Curious. Very, very curious.

First it's FL was decimated by injuries, then it's Fl has great depth.
Did you get hit in the head as a child?

Pinkel is being applauded for his 2* diamonds in the rough turned all stars, so he should have the most stacked team in the SEC depth wise from all the 2*s on the roster.

I think the most obvious point is that Pinkel is a much more talented and adept HC than Muschamp.

Find anyone who will debate you on that, I challenge you.

No fricking duh. Also Pinkel has been coaching for about 20 more years.

Yes 2013 is the year injuries mattered.
2012 is the year depth mattered

By the way, Florida's defense was without Ronald Powell, Marcus Roberson, and Michael Taylor for the start of the Missouri game. During the game Damien Jacobs got hurt, and so did one other DB I can't remember. Even with all those defensive injuries, oh and Cody Riggs getting tossed after the first play, UF was only down 6 in the fourth quarter, and that was with a gimpy former WR project commit playing QB behind a patch work OL.

Injuries are a part of football, but the Florida team Missouri beat was NOT the same team that held LSU to 17 points. Also consider that pretty much everyone else on the schedule tore Florida up the 2nd half of the season after the injuries really took off. Hell Georgia Southern had over 400 yards rushing.

Dude, IDK WTF you are griping about. I haven't said shite about 2012.

Missouri was fricked in 2012 by injuries. No shite, everyone knows that, why are we even arguing it?

Clearly they would have been better had Josey been healthy, and their starting QB, and their OL. NO frickING shite!

Muschamp's offensive recruiting in 2011 and 2012 was some of the worst I've ever seen. Combine that with all the transfers from the 2010 class when Meyer left, and you have the offense that UF fielded last year. Total cluster frick. They could not handle injuries last year, we all knew it, they happened, UF sucked.

You forgot that Justin Britt launched Antonio Morrison into deep space, and he hasn't been seen since. That put Florida at a major disadvantage.

Yes that one play clearly won Mizzou the game. Def the play of the game. Also def the funniest.

Why is mizzou bragging so hard about beating a 4-8 team? Last year when UF only beat Mizzou 14-7, UF fans were angry...

Shouldn't you be angry that it was a 6 point game in the 4th quarter against a 4-8 squad? I don't get it...

Because everyone ground our face in the mud after 2012. Payback's a bitch, huh?

I have always admired Pinkel/Mizzou for seemingly doing more with less but I will say that your coaching staff obviously has a knack for finding underrated players. Spurrier has pretty much done the same at SC. In absence of players with elite speed, get big strong players who can block and tackle.

If y'all hit a healthy Georgia ladt year they would have given you issues, but not if you had Mizzou's schedule. 7-1, 6-2 at worst.

Dude... UF just had its worst year in 3 decades. Including losing to 3 of our biggest rivals.

I barely even REMEMBER the missouri loss. It's really low on my give a shite meter.

When I read your post about payback I literally laughed out loud. Outside of my boredom right now, and needing to engage in football discussion, I barely even think about missouri existing. The football program or the state for that matter.

Consider that UF was so ridiculously bad last year that even our main rivals don't give us much crap, because it's just too sad and easy.

I wasn't speaking to you personally of UF fans exclusively. The whole league took a boot to us.

As to your other comments... You do have your hands full with Florida State and UCF having eclipsed y'all. Good luck.
