It's sports, if the coach doesn't frustrate you some of the time then you don't care enough.

Let me sum up your impending basketball season in one gif. The missouri player represents the missouri basketball team and Alabama's defense represents a MEAC basketball school

This is freaking amusing...Mizzou will own the SEC in basketball this year...
We have started exhibition play and as a 20 year season ticket holder this team is going to be special and extremely tough! We picked up Oriahki from the National Championship team at UConn....we picked up Bell from Pepperdine...and the rest of the studs on this team look like NBA ready players. You best get ready for some serious arse whoopin....
By the way what are these butt hurt Big 12-1-1-1-1 fans doing posting on an SEC board? Move on losers...

Try going close to a decade with Stan Heath and Pelphrey if you want to understand frustration.
You are going to be in for some frustration when you realize just how bad officiating is in this league for the visiting teams and those playing Kentucky....

Sound like your gearing up for one of those big historic seasons for your program. you thinking sweet 16 or elite 8?

If this were true they would be playing in the NBA not transferring into Mizzou for playing time...

we going to win the SEC in our first year
Good luck with that.
Arkansas actually did win the SEC in our first season.

You'd be surprised by what we won't be surprised about. On-the-road college officiating is uniformly terrible. And there's little difference in how games are called for Kentucky, Duke, the Tar Heels or the Jayhawks. Elite programs get the calls.

Besides the tippy top I think the programs are ranked fairly on prestige.

These are cute throwaway lines on a forum. But the reality is that we could lose 3 players to malaria, and as long as none of them are named Phil Pressey, we'd still have a good team. This is as deep a team as I've seen at Mizzou.
So, if Haith does anything close to his coaching job of last year, I expect us to challenge for the title. Our conference schedule doesn't look particularly scary, TBH. But there's no gimmes on the road in any BCS conference in basketball. So we'll see how it all unfolds.

So what you are saying is Mizzou's success will again rely on the framework completed by Mike Anderson.

He didn't even coach you to a win in the first round...
Why couldn't your team beat Norfolk?

Again, that's a cute line on a forum. Duke lost in the first round to Lehigh. Does Coach K suck?
Haith did a great job throughout the season. Our team played with precision we hadn't seen since Stormin Norman. Good offense. We did struggle on defense based on some size limitations.
If you just want troll, I can skip to cousin and trailer jokes. If you want to talk basketball, ask questions that show you know something.

What were the biggest loses from last years team both from a leadership perspecitve and a talent perspective?

He has final four and national championships to prove what kind of coach he is.
What does Haith have? A big 12 championship while sitting on the bench watching a Mike Anderson built team win it?

You're right. I need to give Haith more credit. He's a good bball coach making the best of coaching at a below average basketball school. You have to do what you can with the cards you're dealt.
