That’s a thin QB history. Who is the best Mizzou QB of all time in terms of NFL success?

Not sure, but the issue was what good does being a starting QB at Mizzou do you. My answer was intended to show how that exposure led to a NFL gig not their performance once they arrived.
Actually it’s a pretty decent record of recent MU QBs that ended their college career as a Mizzou starting QB.

Chance McDanielson made $42,000,000 and only had to start five games. He retired completely healthy.

What? He’s done it before.

in recent history. Not saying they did well in the NFL, but starting for MU got them all exposure.
Do you honestly think being a back up bench rider at a big school gets you more exposure than a starting role on ANY SEC team?
Don’t let your hatred of Mizzou lead you into making stupid assertions.
It's not a hatred of Mizzou, it's a legitimate question.
Please name the last NFL quarterback that Drinkwitz developed.
Your OC has only been an OC for like 2 seasons.
I'm assuming LB3 and the others are gone after this year.
The average college quarterback has no memory of probably 3 of the 4 guys you named and Lock wasn't exactly a household name.
What is the big draw?

Mizzou needed a quarterback this year.

Unfortunately this is a criticism of Drink that we share.

Yes, but it is believed we have a solid up and coming WR room.

This isn’t a trivia contest. The question I would ask in their position is who is the last starting MU QB who ended their college career as a starter with Mizzou who DIDN’T end up in the NFL? (Unfortunately it appears it will be Cook…but still a good track record prior to).

Again, it is the exposure. The incoming portal QB will have virtually no competition. He will be Day 1 starter on an SEC team. Horn is going to go MLB and Zollers coming off a bad injury will be a freshman. Don’t get me started on Pyne!

I don't think most college quarterbacks will know, I live in Missouri and I certainly don't.

I don't think them having played at Mizzu that led to their nfl career. I think it had more to do with how well they played in college. Take those same players, put them at different colleges, and the outcome is probably the same.

Don’t misunderstand me. I’m not saying because of Mizzou specifically. I’m just talking about the exposure available to a guaranteed starter in the SEC.
You can find your way from other places too. Starting QBs at Power 4 colleges would seem to get more attention though. Do you disagree?
But hell, my wife did her undergrad work at Eastern Illinois University. I guess Tony Romo and Jimmy Garoppolo both got enough exposure there to be invited to play at the next level.
Eastern Illinois University…QB U

Again, not a trivia question. My point being of recent Mizzou starting QBs who went the distance with MU, most ended up with an NFL contract. The player doesn’t need to know this off the top of his head. You don’t think this is emphasized with recruits and portal candidates?
But speaking of trivia, the last one that comes to mind who did not end up in the NFL is probably James Franklin (yeah, not that one). He did actually sign with Detroit for a very, very short cup of coffee (signed and released before the 2014 season). Played in the CFL after that.
