My Tigers will redeem the SEC tomorrow by taking care of the reigning Big XII champs, 27-17.
You're welcome.

Doubtful
Maybe your nerd HC could beat Kansas State in a spelling bee or science fair but football is definitely not his thing

Kansas St will cover.

Seeing Kansas state the last few years reaffirms my questioning of why it took someone so long to give one of those coaches from a perennial d2 champion a shot. What would Indiana, Syracuse, Oregon state, Vanderbilt etc. stand to lose by giving a guy that went 69-6 with 4 national championships in 5 seasons a chance at being a head coach vs some coordinator that has never been head coach.

hell, Ohio St hired Jim Tressel from Youngstown St. Look at Lance Leipold at Kansas. He's made playing against KU an actual tough proposition.

I'm not optimistic based on what I've seen from the Tigers so far but best of luck to you. I don't know how many more non con loses the conference can take.

I don't guess I realized Tressel had came directly from Youngstown state, I thought he had previously been a coordinator or something at Ohio state. Lance Leipold is another example. I don't get why one of the schools i mentioned before or anyone that regularly struggle's in a bigger conference hasn't given that a shot.

Tressel had been an assistant at Ohio St. but, that was in the 80s. he spent 14 years as the HC of Youngstown St before they hired him.

Would be shocked if Mizzou kept it within 2 scores

I’d love to agree with you, but I can only do so as a homer.
Objectively they have a huge coaching advantage, by far the better QB, our OL has not figured out the new run blocking scheme and we are missing our NFL LB and key Secondary piece who won’t be back for another 2 weeks from injury.
Only plus is it’s at home but the very first negative play Cook makes the crowd is going to create SO MUCH negative energy by boo’ing him it’s going to be toxic City for a sellout game.

Yeah. We are likely going to need to hold their offense to less than 25 points to have a chance. We’re not scoring more than that (and quite likely we are scoring less).
Unless this team has something it didn’t show in week 1 or 2, we are going to lose handily.
