Mizzou vs Bama at 9:30. What are the tailgating rules?

I'm trying to keep within the norms of SEC baseball. As I type this, it's 2:38 AM. Is it too early to start tailgating for a 9:30 first pitch?

LSU fans, me included will NEVER tell you it’s too early to start tailgating! We start at 4:30 AM to get ready for Mardi Gras day parades!

Two things: Leave your Poop Swastikas in Missouri. And prepare to be tailgating by yourself this morning

Poop Swastika happens to be the name of my band, and we've got sold out shows throughout Alabama, so no can do.

No matter what, enjoy the tournament! It’s a great week of baseball and meeting other teams’ fans! If you have the time stay all the way through the weekend. You’ll see some good baseball, probably eat some good food, and meet some awesome fans from other schools.

You can be drunk as early as you want.
So in your particular case, go as you are.

What makes you think he will need to stay after a 930 am Tuesday game between Missouri and Alabama to see good baseball???

I have a strange feeling like the only Mizzou fans in Hoover will be some of the players families.

I don't think that's a strange feeling at all. I think for a Mizzou fan to have any desire to travel to Alabama to watch this Mizzou baseball team play, has indeed been tailgating through the wee hours of the night.

That poor table is just barely holding up.

Honest question for all-day tailgaters: how do you do it exactly without passing out along the way? Alternate alcoholic drinks with non-alcoholic? Make sure you/re eating enough food all day to absorb the alcohol? I'm impressed by people who can do this, and would like to learn the secret.

I'm built different. Not sure how others do it.

In my experience, you have to start slow (low ABV and the occasional water helps) and ride the wave until it crescendos with shots somewhere around kickoff, then layoff enough to pack it up afterwards and make it home safely.
I've made many, many mistakes along the way.
