He coached bad games and Missouri and its fans felt he was peaking.

Not necessarily agreeing or disagreeing with that assessment. I don’t have a dog in the fight. I can only comment as a third party observer, and from my perspective, Drink seems like a good hire.

The entire country hates Mizzou, not just the entire state of Missouri.

It's quite amazing that most of Missouri isn't even a proud supporter of their own state, which is one main reason they have to rebrand the university as Mizzou.

St Louis, USA.

Kansas City, Kansas.

Ole Miss is a horrible example to use for the point you're trying to make

STL, USA

KC, Kansas

Missouri, misery, is such a dull brand and so unproudly carried by its residents that the university must push forward with italic lettering and the word Mizzou

This is a mere 3hrs from campus. So what do you expect from that place.

imagine pretending to be yankee just to upset people on the internet

outside of the minivan-dad bubble in suburban STL and KC, missouri is as redneck and confederate as any place on earth

the soyboi dads are ashamed of it and try to validate their mid-wit brains by acting superior to all of you bc you're from southern states

You can pee on a blind man’s leg and tell him it’s raining, but Mizzou fans can see because we actually watched every game.

We watched him get tight in games and his team play not to lose...which led them to fold like a blanket at the slightest tough break.

We watched him overplay guys who were clearly not as good as their backups ala Bryant over Bazelak when KB couldn’t throw a 5 yard out to save his life.

We watched him allow his players to have so little discipline that he’d never bench a kid after acting like a fool, from costly personal fouls like taunting to off field tweeting accusing your fanbase of possibly being racist because you aren’t showing up to games.

We watched Odom DESTROY our biggest strength - D-Line Zou by big timing coach Kul and in a single offseason take a bunch of bendy speed rushers and 100% go to a read and react DL which took us from near top to bottom of the SEC in sacks.

We watched Odom hire over their head coordinators like Cross and freaking Derek Dooley.

We watched him lose so many winnable games and ultimate pee away a first round NFL QB by refusing to slow down the tempo when every middle schooler knew that perhaps 30 second 3-outs aren’t great for your defense.

We saw him go all in on the recruiting pitch and marketing of the “MISSOURI 10” and put his identity on fencing in the boarders only to literally land NONE OF THEM!

We watched him get housed by Wyoming and our coached by Derek Mason!!

Your narrative is for the blind. Enjoy Arkansas. I hope Odom gets another shot and becomes who you dream he was.

You could also say Odom's career as HC at Mizzou was plagued by cultural and recruiting issues form the previous regime

Barry Odom was part of that culture. If it was that bad his arse should have been out the door too.

Also, super classy of you to completely ignore that Pinkel retired b/c he was in his mid 60s and came down with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

OP should crawl inside his own arse and give birth to himself as a pile of shite to make his existence more accurate.

2015 was barry's first back at mizzou. he was gone at memphis for the three season prior to 2015. culteral hell broke loose with a coke head qb, dui guilty hc, and a blm splinter cell that detonated a bomb that forced gp to retire and triggered firings all the way up to system president

Odom is also so great that his defense gave up 50 points to his former team. Give me a freaking break. Go cry about him somewhere else. Nobody cares.

cheap seat rhetoric

that game turned into a slugfest and an example of modern college football

his defense was more than commendable this season

arkansas was off from football activities the week before the game, disruptions like that are huge, even to just the conditioning of a team

Stop wasting your time on them Barry. You are home now. Let them slip into nothingness like they deserve.

Drinkwitz is able to make contact to top recruits in St. Louis and ESL high school. When Odom was HC at Mizzou high school HCs St. Louis and ESL areas kept Odom from making any contact to their top recruits. This is proof Odom was part of the problem!
