Mizzou was the closest team to beating them when Auburn had all 5 of their starters (1 point loss).

Mizzou kept Auburn to their lowest point total this season.

Mizzou did all these in front of a half empty arena.

What did Mizzou do differently that game that other teams can't copy?

Oh quit your crying about having all starters.

They have the number 1 draft pick.

Arkansas had guys playing 40+ minutes last night who won't even sniff the NBA.

Yes. But I'm discussing what did Mizzou do differently against them.

They played down to Mizzou's level. No idea why.

Missouri almost caught Auburn looking ahead to the Arkansas game.

Arkansas fans are lords of the transitive property, but I have news for you we've known it doesn't apply to sports for decades.

maybe Auburn had a bad night or Missouri had an uncharacteristically good night. It happens.

Exactly!

It's clear that Auburn didn't take Missouri seriously, as it did Arkansas. No Auburn fans were saying that Missouri would be it's toughest test of the season.

We actually doubled their score, which we didn't even do in the 120-68 beat down in '94.

Missouri, UGA and Arkansas showed the world what to do to beat Auburn.

arkie deserves credit they hit several big shots and won the game...however, they also did the most important thing. FT's.

Auburn 8-17
arkie 23-32

I credit the crowd because that was well below our worst performance of the season and significantly below our team average.

It was not y’all’s worse performance. I would say y’all’s worse performance was against Missouri and UGA in half full arena’s. Yes the crowd played a part, but Auburn had the lead in the 2nd half by 4 I believe. Arkansas seems to be a pretty good team but they just don’t lose many games at home. At home over last three years I believe Arkansas is like 47-6 at home. I would say auburn didn’t play that bad if game considering the circumstances of where it was being played. But I think if Auburn wants to make a deep run they have to clean up there play against teams like UGA and Missouri. Good luck rest of the way out except for 2/26.

Wrong. We literally beat their arse up and down the floor on their home court until 2 of our guys got injured.

Free throws made were the difference, but Muss substituted players liberally throughout the game with little to no drop off . This is a good group of talent that is coming together as one instead of individuals trying to win it on their own. It took a while.

Auburn has a great group but these teams weren’t that far off talent wise with the exception of Smith and Kessler.

Smith is top notch.

Until you beat Auburn...it doesn't matter...especially if your school is a gay yankee school with a dorkozoid football coach. (if the shoe fits...you know).

We want that orange azz again in the SEC tourney.

Spank it again while its still sore.

Yep, I think UK will be tougher than Auburn and Arkansas at home will be tougher that what they faced against Auburn.

And Texas, Texas Tech, Kentucky, LSU all showed how to beat Tennessee. Alabama and Duke laid the blueprint for how to beat Gonzaga. Tennessee and UCLA showed how to beat Arizona. What's your point? No team is perfect in college basketball.

Auburn lost a tough road game against a really good team. There are still plenty of areas Auburn needs to improve on prior to March, as do most teams, but the team is ahead of most at this point in the season. The one thing I do know, is this Auburn team fights hard, and any team is going to have to earn a victory against them, evidenced by the fact that our only 2 losses have been in OT. Nobody is running this team off their homecourt by 28.
