Not just a yankee but a dumb yankee here. What am I missing? Missouri is a green state with nearly identical numbers to Texas.

That's the only reason why you were voted into the SEC rather than the yankee bastards in West Virginia. They tried to plead a case for being Southern, but the shite didn't flush in the historical records.

They only missed turning green by 1%. For a fanbase split between going to the Big Ten and coming to the SEC that's actually pretty good.

Not bad for a school who's fan base was split between going to the SEC and trying to get into the Big Ten.

They will need more time to learn how things are done in the SEC (unlike A&M which was trying to get in back in 1996 and has had over a decade to practice at it).
