So, if a school says they didn’t do anything wrong, NCAA just agrees? Makes perfect sense.

God damn Missouri. What an embarrassment. What do y'all bring to the conference that's good? You can't even say academics based on the rankings posted this morning.

Holy shite Mizzou got the hammer. Damn, who is next?

With regards to academic fraud, rule number 1 for schools is dont violate your own institutional rules. So, yeah, if a school did a review and found with some degree of technical believability that whatever occurred didn’t violate its own policies then they’re probably good in the eyes of the NCAA.
The NCAA wants nothing to do with telling schools how to run their academics so, for example, UNC was able to say “uh, that class was totally meant to be run that way per university policy” to which the NCAA was willing to say “fair enough”
Unfortunately Mizzou really can’t claim the same defense; perpetrated by an a-hole with an axe to grind, sure, but multiple students knowingly cheated in multiple classes which is going to violate every university’s policy somewhere. Mizzou should consider legal action against the tutor if anything but they’re screwed against the NCAA other than tod means the sentence be lessened (good luck with that arbitrary bullshite). Mizzou fans should also be furious with the students who cheated and the program should disassociate themselves

Needing my @mizzou transcripts. TOO POOR to pay account balance $3089.99. Willing to trade academic fraud list. #desperate times
Mizzou deserves this for being dumb enough to hire this girl for this job.

I doubt any of this was on her application genius

Missouri was such a terrible add to the conference.
What a waste.
What a waste.

So, if the baseball seniors get immediate eligibility wherever they go, can you guys go ahead and have that senior lefty Laplante give LSU a call. We only have one LHP and he's hurt. Thanks. I'll hang up and listen.

I'm sure someone could've predicted she was a bad egg by looking at her social media beforehand or just asking some interview questions.
Get the sports fan who's going to tell everyone on Saturdays he tutors the players, and you have no problems.

Wow ... that's the NCAA for you

So if Odom had been butt fricking little boys the penalty would’ve been less severe?

Wow I didn’t even know y’all were under the microscope.

Meanwhile, in Clemson...

Ouch. The NCAA dropped the hammer on Mizzou with this one. This was shaping up to be a very good Missouri team with a favorable schedule. A ten win season and a shot at a NY6 bowl would not have been surprising.
Missouri has had a very good softball team (they had a run of three straight WCWS appearances) until the last few years when the wheels came off after a player revolt against coach Ehren Earleywine. Not having a shot at a post season run will be a blow to the new softball coach Larissa Anderson.
The scholarship and visitation restrictions are going to hobble both programs, but since its only 1 year they should bounce back. Its going to be particularly rough on Anderson since she's trying to rebuild a program that has struggled the last two years.

The hot women
I seriously doubt this.
1) Southern girls are the hottest. Any girl with a midwestern accent is
2) The SEC was not short on hot women before so if anything, Mizzou probably brought the curve down.
So again I ask, what does Mizzou bring to this conference that's good?
