To be fair, I would have appreciated this before the Ole Miss game, it was unbearable looking like shite as sober as I was.

No, but I'm not a fricking idiot either.
You’re very upset about people wanting to drink in the morning. What page in the hymnal book?

Getting drunk in Lawrence won't make Kansas win a game.
Who said that and what does that have to do with anything?

Screw it. We'll kick their arse at any time slot.
Alabama is used to playing road night games. Road 11 am games? Not so much. Mizzou is.

Come to Knoxville for lessons.
When we have an early game, our tailgate has 'Beer and Buscuits' starting about 7:00 am The hard liquor does not come out until about 8:00 am.
I no longer drink, but I can easily eat 4-5 sausage and egg biscuits.

No, people are claiming that playing at night makes a difference. Both teasms have to show up at the same time.
I asked how. Still waiting on a straight answer.

It does seem kind of odd to not have Mizzou-Bama in primetime over Florida-A&M.
There's really no other huge primetime matchup, that weekend.
Is the red river rivalry messing up the entire TV schedule for the day?

It affects the atmosphere.
The teams can be influenced by it.

The time slots were established during the summer.

If you don’t understand the basic principles of home field advantage and the varying factors of it, I can’t help you.

No. The local middle school we play at doesn’t have it in the budget.

Does Mizzou's stadium have lights that would enable them to play at night?
We used to, but they were embedded in the rock M and that was removed years ago.

An LSU fan complaining about lopsided night game dynamics. This is kind of poetic.
Poetic?
LSU has lobbied the SEC for so long regarding night games (which I strongly favor as well) that they’re likely the reason this was announced as an 11am kickoff before the season even started.
And Bama has only had one night kick so far as well and that was against ULM so a lot of teams are getting “screwed” from a gameday experience standpoint right now because ABC wants to put prime games in the Jefferson Pilot slot.

It’s sort of funny that so many ranters were posting a few years ago how the SEC dog walked the Big ten on the new network dynamics. Maybe on CBS they did. But ABC hasn’t exactly figured all their shite out as far as slotting the premier matchups. Sankey screwed the pooch

Its fan experience vs tv ratings.
ABC doesnt GAF what the fans going to the games want.
They just want premier matchups at 11, 230 and 630 so they can maximize ratings.
If they have three good games on at 630 they just canibalize their baked in viewers.
When they force Bama - Missouri to 11 they get people watching earlier and figure they still have enough options to keep people interested later in primetime.
Its not Bama bias. Its not anti-Missouri bias. Its just tv ad revenue via ratings.
11am should be a punishment for bad teams, not a sacrificial situation for good teams at home.
Its also worth mentioning that most of the abc execs making these decisions are probably B10 or east coast grads who think college football should be played at 11am anyway and don't understand what we're complaining about because they're used to B10 or NFL football.

11 AM game with bama coming to town and a potential CFP slot on the line. 10 vs 19 matchup. Total bullshite. If it were a night game it could change the entire dynamic. I’m sure it’ll be insane even at 11 AM but you can’t help but think what if.
11am is far better time for Mizzou than a night game
