Surely you’ve won more than one NC in five decades right ?

The Dallas Cowboys of the FBS.

I'm going to hard disagree with you that KU is number 1 on the Missouri side. It just isn't. There are definitely a lot of them, and a lot of Johnson County residents work in KCMO, so you do need an increase around working hours. And I realize these aren't exactly scientific, but any poll I've found supports the state line being a pretty clear divider between KU and MU:

Well, I'm on my dry January but come February when I get out and about to the breweries, me and sweetie will do a tally of the gear we see for KU, Kstate and Mizzou and I'll let ya know.

If you're ever in Brookside/Waldo, I'd be happy to buy you a beer.

Most people that say things like this wouldn't know a dang thing about culture. What they mean is "eclectic".

No, I mean culture. STL has a lot of it. Great Art, Science and History museums, a world-class Zoo (3 million visitors a year), which is a research center as well, and world-class Botanical Garden, which is also an internationally recognized research and preservation center. The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra is also renowned. And there is the Gateway Arch and its accompanying museum.

Entertainment venues featuring top musical acts and local musicians dot the area, from the intimate to arena. And Forest Park features the outdoor Muny Opera, where top musicals are performed each summer. The historic Fox and Peabody theaters feature musicals and concerts year-round. Two major universities call STL home -- St. Louis U. and Washington U., which is an internationally known medical research center.

There are dining options galore featuring every kind of ethnic food, and the Italian food here is second to none. Art galleries abound.

Old money brought a lot of culture to STL, and much of it is free to everyone, including tourists -- all the museums and the Zoo.

Now tell me about all the culture in Austin, which grew up too fast for money and land to be set aside for a place like Forest Park, which is larger than Central Park and houses all 3 museums, the Zoo, the Muny Opera, a skating rink, ball fields and an 18-hole golf course. It draws 12 million visitors a year.

And benefactor Henry Shaw bequeathed 79 acres in the middle of the city for the Botanical Garden, founded in 1859 and one of the largest in the world.

Just so you know...as Texans tend to think the world revolves around Texas.

You guys seem to be really impressed by that person. He must’ve only been a little on the spectrum.

It's the opposite. The tax revenues generated from the small towns and rural areas filter in to the big cities, who control things with politics and send less money back out to the rural areas that received by them.
GDP is a false idol.

Lead in 4th quarter in 2013 SECCG vs Auburn both top 5 teams. Winner got in. Same deal in 07 but not as close as 2013 imo

Fun fact, this is because of politics. If St. Louis were like every other city in the country (other than Baltimore) and didn’t have a city / county split, St. Louis is actually outside of the T25 most dangerous cities in the county. The murder stat is just based on 300k people, not the 2m in St. Louis. I’ll go one step further, it would actually be one of the safest big cities in the country.
