with them Missouri is an extension of southeast Kansas: a meth and trailer infested shite hole filled with inbred and uncultured white trash

I gotta admit, the spirit of Mizzou posters around here is commendable given they have a 50k stadium. You would think Mizzou has no fans.

But every day, you can count on Mizzou threads. I'll give it to them for that.

Atlanta GA is the geographical location the state of Missouri defecates from.

Missouri fans are honestly some of the more likeable fans in the SEC. At least they're not heathens like Tennessee fans.

I live in the KC area and it's dominated by KU and Kstate but there are still quite a few diehard Mizzou fans in the metro.

What I've notice is Mizzou doesn't do a very good job of promoting the flagship university in the KC area, that may have something to do with UMKC being in KC proper so they don't want to compete against themselves.

I'm guessing you live in Johnson County, KS. Depending on where in Johnson County, you are 30 miles or less from KU's campus. Lawrence is basically a Kansas City suburb at this point thanks to the sprawl. So of course that area is dominated by KU fans. 90% of their alumi seem to end up in Johnson County after graduating and getting jobs in the KC area.

I am surprised to see a claim that Kansas State "dominates" the area. I don't see all that many of them, at least not compared to KU on the Kansas side or MU on the Missouri side.

I can only speak to how they've been since joining the SEC.

Most of the GDP in this country comes from big cities. And tax revenue to support the hicks in the sticks. Without KC and STL, Missouri is Mississippi, a real shithole state that can't even provide water service to its capital and largest city.

KC and STL both have vast entertainment, cultural and dining options. And 6 professional sports teams, including the Chiefs, who will be trying to win their 3rd straight SB, and Cardinals, who have won more WS than any team outside of the Yanks. I guess you're a homebody who likes to knit and watch reruns on TV.

That's fine, I don't personally like big cities.

I frequent a lot of the breweries in the KC metro ans in general, I've notice a lot of the gear being worn by other patrons is predominantly KU followed by Kstate. If you're on the Missouri side of the state line it's still KU number 1 with Mizzou possibly edging out Kstate.

I can tell you one thing that hurt Mizzou in the KC area with many fans was the Johnathan Butler/Ferguson MO protests on campus that spilled over to the football team......pissed a shite ton of people the frick off.

The meth is out in the sticks, moron. And let me know when Cape Girardeau, Branson or Springfield gets a pro sports team and vast amounts of entertainment, dining and cultural options.

You are clueless. And the crime in STL and KC doesn't happen in the places I reside and frequent. Everyone who lives in those 2 cities knows where the crime is and simply avoids going to those areas. STL has dozens of great neighborhoods in the city with their own character. You should get out more.
And learn something before spewing nonsense from your keyboard.

I'm going to hard disagree with you that KU is number 1 on the Missouri side. It just isn't. There are definitely a lot of them, and a lot of Johnson County residents work in KCMO, so you do need an increase around working hours. And I realize these aren't exactly scientific, but any poll I've found supports the state line being a pretty clear divider between KU and MU:

Your state is known for Deliverance and Majorie Taylor Greene.

I would sit this out.

cultural options.

Most people that say things like this wouldn't know a dang thing about culture. What they mean is "eclectic".

There is more culture on a rickety front porch and an ole hound dog than likely you urbanites will ever know.

Agreed. Especially since K-Pugh doesn't have a decent football program, and football is king.
