I never said there was specifically a gay gene. However calling it a lifestyle choice is just ignorant
I've seen studies saying that it occurs in the womb. Maybe they're right, I dunno. However it's definitely not a choice. Who the frick would willingly subject themselves to the kinds of insults that you can find throughout this thread

I think they are born that way. I have gay females in my family. We knew they'd be gay when they were younger, acted too tomboyish. But no gay men, thank god. And they better not come out being gay, better straighten that shite up quick if they thinking about being gay. Girls can be gay, no gay boys in my family.

The story was coming in the media in the next few days. He just wanted to tell it first, rather than let them tell the story. I'd guess he'd rather not have to do this at all, but it was coming one way or another.
