You're right. It makes sense that the only school in the conference with any real basketball history would not have the nicest basketball practice/player facilities.

You said in the nation, not the conference. I'm sure there are schools out there with nicer basketball facilities than Kentucky. Success doesn't always equal quality of facilities.

No, I didn't. Actually, I didn't "say" either one. But this thread is about the SEC, so I figured people would know what I was talking about. Guess you can never assume anything.

Ya, but they're moving it in and making some sort of plaza on the north side, it will also allow for the possibility of further expansion. This rendering features pretty significant upgrades though, with the east side and south side each adding more bleacher seats, luxury seats, and boxes.

The first phase says it will add ~6,000 seats, and will just be the east side, so once the south side is done and the seats are added closer to the field (as are in rendering), it could add a total in the range of 12,000, which would put us at around 83k, not too shabby IMO.

ETA: The 'M' has been there forever, it would piss off too many people to get rid of it at this stage, when that is really not needed.

We just hung a new banner.

Missouri isn't big on banners. Despite what they wanted us to think last winter, this "basketball school" has never been to the Final Four.

This is a good first step but it's just that a first step. this level of donation must be sustained for long periods.

Another angle, the side closest is the one that will be renovated first, apparently.

That looks good. Seems like luxury boxes are what A&M and Mizzou both need more of badly in the SEC move.

Big companies in Houston/ St. Louis paying for boxes is our way to catch up on the revenue game.

We have as many national championships in the Big 3 as you do. Nobody gives a shite about track except the athletes and their parents.

Don't mind Busey. He's just pissed UK will finish 7th in the East every year instead of 6th.

Naw I'm actually not pissed at all. We'll have a new coach next season.

Meanwhile, Mizzou will live a meaningless existence kind of like Arky. Y'all will never have a real chance to win anything of significance in any sport. You'll just kind of...exist. But only sort of.

That's the only thing busey can do. He'll never post anything of significance. He just kind of exists...but barely.
