The butt-hurt from the 2nd & 3rd tier SEC programs over the potential both A&M and Mizz bring to the SEC is only surpassed by the thinly veiled fear based facilities trolling.

Well thought out. Good job, my man.

Nice. Glad to see y'all joining the arms race big time. The problem in the sec is you will build something state of he art and the next year someone builds a nicer one.

Ya, at least we'll finally have a nice football stadium though... it has been neglected for too long - not necessarily in terms of expansion, but renovations have been needed for awhile.

Mostly for my fellow Mizzou fans, here is AD Mike Alden discussing the facilities upgrade: LINK

FIFY

But seriously, the number of stadium renovations and expansions soon to be taking place in the SEC is extremely impressive and good to see.

You should have been posting in the "Civil War nicknames for SEC states" thread.

It brought on too many memories and thoughts of what could have been.

Is it just me or do the suites at UT look like the Gaylord Hotel?

Why do Tennessee and A&M hate architecture?

They love architecture, it just happens to be 1960-70s Soviet architecture, comrade.

I'm happy for Mizzou. Facilities upgrades are always necessary somewhere. It's nice to see that the powers that be are willing to do what it takes to make the blend into the SEC as smooth as possible.

Yeah, and they are starting at a better place than a couple of SEC schools already. They already have a nice basketball arena.

Facilities are an arms race in the SEC like no other conference. Isn't our facilities master plan a $300 million upgrade project? And ours are already pretty awesome. You can't sit still...

Loge Seating, many Arena's feature this in the NBA now, and Arkansas has it in BWA's renovation plans as well.

The location/design part of UT's is odd though.

NBA Arena's have them behind the goals and stacked like this:

Indeed, and a good portion of them are press seating.
