1. Perception of the conference is about what I expected but I think looking back now that football is over, and thinking about all the hype and respect this conference gets, it's by far the smartest decision our university has ever made athletics wise.
2. Yea sure. I certainly feel more of a connection with schools in the south than I do with schools in the Midwest.
3. Move or rotate championship from Atlanta. It would be cool to have a western and eastern game every other year. Maybe Houston or NOLA.

Now even mentioning Bama in passing constitutes "Dick Riding".
You Aggies and the gay phrases.

Your post lacks the dick riding, but there are legion of posters who can attest to the dick riding of LSU fans. You (fans) can't wait for Bama to beat us. You are figuratively pissing yourselves in anticipation.
Who the hell wants that? I've never seen it or heard it IRL. Those people are sick if they exist, worse than the flock of degenerates they are allegedly supporting.

Our honeymoon was over after last year's Media Days.
1.) I still like USC, and I dislike Arkansas now.
2.) My IQ hasn't dropped enough from the fluoride in the water yet.
3.) Nothing.

I think bringing Mizzu was a mistake

I think destabilizing the Big 12 enough for Aggy to make a move and try to blossom from out of their spot under their big brother's thumb was a mistake.
You're welcome, BTW.

AKA Longhorn Network. Screw Texas. Don't blame 'em.

If you take JFF away from A&M and put him at Mizzou they both do a 180 imo. Mizzou will fit in fine, they just need a couple of good wins.

1)Has your perception of the SEC or any teams in particular changed?
I like Alabama fans more than I expected too. I expected that to be the fanbase most like Texas, but with a few exceptions, they're just knowledgeable, fun fans with a passion for their team rather than have that texas arrogance. I've been surprised at all the trolls from Arkansas - I expected to really like their fanbase, and I do really like some - others?

2)Do you feel a part of the conference yet?
Not quite yet - not until we've played at every stadium.

3)What would you change/not change?
Just that we would have had a better year in football.

1) I didn't have many preconceptions to change. I've learned quite a bit, though.
2) It's still new, but it's beginning to feel more like home.
3) 9 game schedule, 6-3 rotation for all but AU/UGA and Bama/UT (6-1-2 for them).

Cheerleaders? Probably never. A pom squad? Possibly. We have a dance team that performs at the basketball games. They seem to coexist fine w/ the yell leaders in that environment. I can see them eventually making their way to Kyle field.
Only the grass around the Memorial Student Center is actually off limits (because it's a memorial)

1. Not really. Knew the schools had more passion going in and that proved to be true. Knew it would be brutal on the field and it was. Many here were spot on when they said we'd wear down...we did. We were in or winning 3 games in the 4th quarter and lost. The team just got worn down by whoever we were playing until our opponent owned the 4th quarter. 8-4 sure would have sounded a lot better than 5-7. Though I'm not seeing it, I hope the staff is addressing the depth issue.
2. Nope and probably never will. Frankly, besides people who were already friends, the only interaction I've had with any fans from the other schools is here on the rant and well, I'm sure you can find all the threads about people's thoughts on MU if needed. Doesn't change the fact that I think it was the right move for MU and still love the fact that we're in the SEC. It's just a whole different world.
3. Don't know that I'd change anything. I think the argument that MU in the west makes sense, but frankly I don't care where MU is, as long as it's in the SEC. Put us wherever.

Probably should get started today. The campus has 5500 acres. Bring extra shoes.
BTW people are asked to refrain from walking on the grass around the Memorial Student Center. The grass is a Memorial to those who died in military action in war.
Do what you want to do. Your actions will describe your character.

It is so cute y'all think you can upset us two years in a row.
LSU was the favorite last year and right now are the favorites this coming season.
Enjoy A&M's fifth place finish in the SEC last year for a little longer. A new season is almost here.
Maybe A&M fans can get on their knees and beg LSU to be their rival some more. Pretty sad when you think about it especially when the Aggies come in 5th on our hate list. Oh well, Arkansas did the same thing. Now it's the Aggies turn to beg us.

Not really. Everything has been more or less what I expected.

2)Do you feel a part of the conference yet?
Yes. Felt TAMU belonged in the SEC before we even joined the conference. And we have flirted before. Seemed like natural fit. Post Florida game reinforced that - the fans got along really well and I enjoyed tailgating with them.

3)What would you change/not change?
Outside of Miss St cowbells? Get rid of the permanent rival thing - it's goofy. Or do what the B1G does and keep Auburn - Georgia and Bama - Tenn but let the rest of the conference - that doesn't care about these games - rotate.
Outside of that I've loved it. LSU's tigah bait is annoying as shite but I respect it.
