I have nothing against playing Missouri every year. The games are normally psychotic but having rivals close to home is better served for us. Our top recruiting areas, outside of SC, have been Georgia and Florida. Playing against them every year helps there plus Kentucky is one of the few basketball teams we can beat.

ive loved playing scar since we joined the sec. that includes the tough ones like the connor shaw comeback. however, i understand beamer wanting us off the schedule some years so he can try and make a serious playoff run

A&M and Missouri fans weren't around when Carolina had Arkansas as a fixed West rival in the original 5-2-1 and later 5-1-2 model - it was the same issue then - USC needs to play where it recruits - and lesser extent where our fans live outside of SC - that's not Texas or Middle America -
