Brewster, the previous A&M coach, was only making $100k more than Finley was at Missouri this year. I suspect Finley’s move was less about compensation than Jesus supposes.
We don’t know if Finley asked for a counter offer or if Missouri would’ve paid more money.

Yes he's done well. When I use to go to games, I remember Nebraska rolling into town (Big 8 and 12 days) and they would fill the stadium with red, same with Oklahoma. If it wasn't for the fact I have turned into a grumpy old man that that is cheap so I would rather say home, I would go to the games.

Sure. But Brewster has been a coach for decades. Joe Jon has been a position coach for a couple years.
I would guess his compensation at A&M will not be significantly greater than it was at Missouri.
