A Texan who wanted to come back home.

His father is a long time Texas High School coach (Arlington, Cleburne, Victoria Memorial and others) and is now retired.

His brother is now in the oil business (Who isn't that wants to make 6 figure money) in West Texas but was Head Coach AD at Big Spring, Los Fresnos, McAllen Memorial and played at Nebraska.

Obvious great Texas high school recruiting connections.

With a name like Joe Jon, it was only a matter of time before he made it to Texas.

Yeah, that’s hilarious. He is a good coach, but this won’t affect us at all.

Program on the rise? Looks pretty stagnant to me.

Your own TE coach just left to go to that "rising program" in North Carolina.

"Tim Brewster, who left the A&M staff last week to accept a similar position at North Carolina."

Must suck to have the greatest quarterback in your program’s history and never win more than 8 games.

Enjoy that 43rd ranked recruiting class, can’t wait to see Odom “develop” them.

Our end is plenty tight.

Don't worry, you'll feel REALLY big.

Oh, yeah, he should recruit well with your resources. More importantly, very good at coaching his position group.

I’m disappointed we are losing him to a lateral move because we refuse to pay our staff. Pissed off, actually

Not true! Odom did match it but he wanted to be back in Texas and is closer to Oklahoma is where his family is at.

Actually, Chase Daniel won 12 games in 2007. And beat Aggie.

I've always wondered, what can a dedicated TE coach teach that dedicated RB and WR coaches couldn't cover? Seems that the TE coach has to be the most specialized, specific position coach in football nowadays. Called TE plays are a lot less common than RB and WR plays.

Tight End?

Her name was Laurie. She was from St. Louis. I met her during Mardi Gras in New Orleans. She had an @$$ that could wake a dead man. Bronze like a Greek Goddess. Best in bed that I ever had.

I don't think she played football though.
