Working on it. Made a deal for basketball while Bill Self was distracted by his Pole Dancers. Les wants the football game back to generate the cash he needs to win 4 games.

And it isn't just Kansas. The people in St Louis ABSOLUTELY DESPISE anything and everything to do with Chicago. I'm not sure if they hate Illinois as a whole or just the city of Chicago...

But I know without a doubt the people from st louis hate those from Chicago and the people from Chicago hate those from St Louis.

I lived in St Louis for 9 years prior to moving to Eugene Oregon.

Honest to God, why do KS and MO have such a huge rivarly? Not just in sports, but it appears to me the residents of both states hold some sort of grudge between each other. Does this go all the way back to Bloody Kansas in the late 1850s?

It is because Missouri stole Kansas city from Kansas

All the Missouri folk here clearly came from the Union side of the Missouri split based on their posts, so I'd think they were ashamed of the happenings during Bloody Kansas.

A lot of people don’t realize this but the only states that had more battles during the Civil war than Missouri were Virginia and Tennessee. Not only that but after the Confederate Army surrendered in 1865, the Missouri Guerrilla fighters kept fighting the Union until 1869. It was pretty nasty up here, a lot of neighbor vs neighbor fighting.

A good way to remember how truly great Missouri is is while the country was having a civil war that we contributed to both sides of, we had a civil war of our own just in our state . To top it off we were being attacked by a terrorist organization known as jayhawkers.

Well, for someone who doesn't post here a lot you sure did have an opinion about me. Missouri is way down my hate list.

Well even though I don’t post a ton, I will pop in and read occasionally and in the last few days you’ve had a lot to say. To be fair maybe it was a small sample size, but seemed like you had a lot to say about us and nothing good.

The best part of the Yellowstone Super Volcano is that when it blows, I'll know that kansas got fricked before us.

There is some debate in the scientific community to if it will blow again. As the hotspot passes under the Absaroka range to the east of Yellowstone, there may be enough mass in the mountains to prevent the hot spot from erupting again.

Funny, because we see TN and the rest of the south as one big trailer park.

kansas actually attempted to steal Kansas City from Missouri. Kansas City, MO existed before the state of kansas did. They named their state after a city in Missouri to try to trick people into moving there

Chicago reversed the flow of the river and flushed its shite downward. We’ve hated them since.
