The only winner the state of Missouri has ever had has been lost to Kansas, the Chiefs are leaving Missouri for Kansas.
Question for Missouri fans is will you still cheer for the Chiefs in your rival state of Kansas
Edit: forget about baseball (Cards)

Oh heck, we didn't let a billionaire blackmail us into paying for his new stadium. How will we live with the shame of watching Kansas taxpayers foot the bill for the next 30 years.
Stanley Cup don't count? 11 World Series don't count?

They'll still be called the Kansas City Chiefs, right ...or will it be the Wyandotte County Chiefs ?
The Braves play in Truist Park, in Cumberland Georgia, but they are still the Atlanta Braves.

Kansas City Missouri Royals
World Series Champions in 1985 and 2015.

That is a huge tax burden for a long time and no guarantee it will work out. Look at how many times the Raiders left communities high and dry over the last few decades.
Hell, the Chicago Bears are abandoning Soldier Field for a toxic waste dump in Indiana.

13 total World Series
Don’t forget the Royals

The Blues have only the one, but 2019 will always be special to me.

Pro sports teams can move wherever they want for any reason the owner wants. Colleges don’t move. College > Pros

I'd trade ATL United, the WNBA team, and all the other small "professional" sports teams in Atlanta to have the Thrashers back.

Kansas City, Missouri, and Kansas City, Kansas, are basically one large city.
Kansas City, Missouri, will now get the same football team in their city, but won't have to pay for the new stadium.
