The last two weeks have shown WVU has been a serious fluke. They would have been a horrible addition to the SEC. Mizzou, though sucks now, will have a long term upswing, plus they are good in basketball.

To you, mizzou.

Agreed. Nothing at all against Mizzou, but I initially thought WVU would be a better fit (location, atmosphere, etc) but am glad we got Mizzou instead. And I'm not just basing this on only seven weeks of football.

I agree, Mizzou will be fine in the SEC east long term. They have been without the starting QB for a couple of games. We know what that is like.
They will also up the Basketball IQ of the conference which is good.
Much better choice than WVU. They have been exposed. They will likely lose a couple of more conference games.

Well, thanks, I think.

Trust that nobody in the SEC is more disappointed with our lack of conference football wins to date, than Mizzou fans. And the bleeding could continue. We won't give up the ship, and we have some great commits for 2013. Mizzou will improve!

Mizzou basketball will add some spice to SEC.

You aren't kidding, I wasn't expecting this rough of a start.

Agree. If you think the hillbillies are bad from the mountains of Arkansas and Tennessee, the ones from West Virginia are downright Deliverence bad. I think Missouri will come around to be a mid-to-upper-mid type team within 5 years or so.

To be honest, having watched a lot of Mizzou football over the years, you couldn't have picked a worst year to start in the SEC. You lost most of your O Line to graduation, then lost several starters before the season started.

^^True and False^^

We would have had the same problems, without the excitement of joining the SEC.

Mizzou had delusions of grandeur when coming into the SEC.

I'm not sure they will be fine because they still have to find the recruits to get depth. That's going to be a challenge for them.

I will disagree. I would rather have WVU.

I'll take Mizzou over WVU all day. There is no reason they can't become a mid-level SEC team that competes and has their share of upsets. Plus their fan base isn't a bunch of stone age assholes as seems to be the case at WVU, and Mizzou is just a flat out better university than WVU.

Really think that misconception, has been way over played. Forget about player comments that may have seemed cocky, cause players should believe they can and will perform.

Everyone else knew it would be a big transition, but one worth making.
