Franchione was considered a "splash hire". Yet, he collectively took a shite all over the program, racking up some of the most embarrassing losses in school history. Just to give you an idea I think the guy signed 3 OL in a 3 year period of time if I recall correctly. Almost as if he wanted to set the program back on purpose. Then after we get rid of this piece of shite, our administration gets the outstanding idea of hiring some lame-vanilla coach who has never been a head coach in the college level. He then proceeds to lose to Arkansas State during the start of his era as a head coach. Sherman just didn't work out. I have high hopes for Sumlin and his staff. One thing that is day and night different is just the attitude. You have to have the right attitude and a level of confidence and swagger.

mizzou has a better chance of being alright in the sec than a&m does.
1. mizzou is in the far easier division. the east is filled with JV teams and JV coaches. They get coaches like richt,boom, and dooley to deal with while a&m deals with the likes of merlins,miles and saban.
