I feel (hope) that we are in good hands again. The BOT saved Sterk's arse.

He has a good sense of humor about it all. Really his plan was no worse than the rest of the conference when it came to stopping the Tide.

Alabama was like those great USC teams under Pete Carroll. There are so many big time weapons on the field you can't stop them all or even really game plan for them.

Honestly we played them way better than the vast majority of other teams did, including the playoffs, and that was also starting a safety at QB

The final score was very misleading. Bama led 35-3 after their first drive of the 2nd half. Saban always begins to shut down after a big lead and immediately replaced Mac with BY and much of the 2nd team. So, Young played almost the entire 2nd half and moved the ball some but fumbled, fumbled and FG on Bama's only other drives of the half. You went 74 yds in 14 plays, 2 min and scored on the last play of the game.

Having said that, IMO, CED was probably the best new coach in the conf, may be one of the top coaches in the SEC. I liked the hire from the beginning and he came through. Your future looks very bright.

I've always liked Missouri and respected them after they kicked us around in '68 and '75. One of my early memories as a little boy was watching Missouri beat my Navy and Heisman winner Joe Bellino in the '61 Orange Bowl. It all seemed so magical. Devine was a great college coach.

in due time that should lend itself well to recruiting.

By Missouri standards it already has.

Drinkwitz just might be the best tactical coach we've seen at Mizzou since Devine. At least he's making things interesting again. I would say he's an utterly self confident football nerd. Something one could also say of Nick Saban.

As I say: Interesting.
