As a longtime Gamecock fan, I think we are going to win EVERY game we play, but EVERY game we play scares the ever loving crap outta me...

I kinda wish they were in the West, because of how similar the programs are. We're mirror images of each other.
And their hatred of Kansas is the only one I've seen that compares to our hatred of Clemson.

Once upon a time on one of our family's cross country road trips, at a small gas station along I-70 somewhere in Missouri there was a guy there with a Mizzou shirt on. So I engaged him in conversation. I told him how I was looking forward to our game this year, yada, yada, yada. His only reply, "I hate Steve Spurrier". Well, at least he was honest.

The Battle for Columbia (TM) is always closer and messier than it should be, regardless of which team is better in a given season.

So to sum up this thread so far, it's not about how much the two schools from Columbia hate each other, it's which school hates it's rival more than the other.
