And that, kids, is why you don't bet on sports.

3 well played games in a row by Mizzou. They just happened to play the league's 2 best teams in the last 2.

Mizzou played like a tourney team. I'd give em a bid if it was up to me

Time for Mizzou to step up and finish the season strong, at Ole Miss, vs Vandy and two games with Tenn, need to finish 7-2 or even better 8-1(realistic hope....5-4)

Good game Gators.
I had a raging boner for the longest time during this game.
Alas now I'm as limp as Hammy and porkerface's wrists.

Do we play y'all in CoMO later?
No, we only got one shot each at you guys and Kentucky. Which really sucks cuz even going 0-4 against those two teams woulda been probably more beneficial to our RPI just by having you on schedule than some of the games we will actually win in this league.

I don't even...

I've learned never to say never with this bunch, but barring injuries I'd be really really surprised if we don't exceed 5-4 down the stretch. We're frustrated b/c we've lost the last two, but they've been competing better ever since the trip to Arky. They may backslide, but I think part of whats happening is the team understands their situation right now and are starting to bring it every night to fight to stay on the bubble rather than take possessions or full games off like they did during the Georgia/Vandy stretch. Only time will tell, but it'd be a shame for this bunch not to make the Dance. They are competent enough to compete there.

Good game MO. Those guards are or real, and they had me screaming bloody hell.
I'm happy now. Go Gators!

I think that's essentially winning at home and losing on the road. Personally I think 5-4 is probably where I'd look. Might win a road game but might lose a home game too. 5-4 is probably about right for this team. 6-3 and I'd be very happily surprised.

Georgia is in complete freefall back to the shitter and if our guys have any pride whatsoever they will be fired up to get some semblance of revenge in that game.
Alabama is a team we beat by 20 earlier this year and figured out how to defend.
Those are two of our remaining road games
I'm not saying we are going to win those two, but the capability simply has to be there and any Mizzou fan who can't see it is blinding themselves. Now will we? Who knows, the team has been unpredictable. But those two games need to be the targets as far as remaining road games because both are doable. The other two road games - @ Ole Miss and @ Tennessee - we should not be favored in and consider gravy, but neither is completely beyond the realm of possibility at all. Ole Miss lost at home to Mercer and needed a frantic rally to get by South Carolina at home. Tennessee lost at home to A&M. You always have a chance playing teams 3 through 14 in the SEC no matter where the game is played.
