Exactly. Howland is a damn good coach. Miss State fans expect far to much. Look at your history...in every sport. Then maybe you'll appreciate your coaches a little more.

LSU is a gymnastics school. 10k at the PMAC beat any basketball game.

And yes Florida has only won one more SEC Title than MSU. Which is why it sucks where MSU Basketball is.

Firing Stansbury was not a bad move when the train flew off the tracks the last 2 years. We had players fighting in the stands while watching another game if you remember. All because of a childish argument. There was zero discipline and no respect for Stans from the players.
The big black mark is firing him with ZERO planning on what to do post firing. He had no prospects and made a crap hire when he began to panic. This basically has resulted in MSU hitting CTL-ALT-DEL a few times on the basketball program and pretty much starting fresh.

Yes. But Florida also has the final four's and the athletic department, and national titles. Florida sucked till the 90's, but it's not the same State now. Howland is a very good coach. See UCLA now that he left? Not very impressive overall. Give the man time. It's not like Miss State is a place you come in and win immediately. You will build each year and get that special year, just like South Carolina. Howland has a great pedigree. Let the man work.

I'm not sure if South Carolina will win another game in the SEC this year. A big drop off from last year.

No one in the SEC sucks at basketball. Every team is average. Sure teams like UF, UK, and Auburn have started to separate but they can all be beaten by anyone in the league. Could MSU finish last? Sure. Could they finish 5th or 6th? Sure.
