Mississippi State will finish in Last Place in Men's Basketball

But to make up for it we will finish 1st in Women's
We've already given up. That Florida performance was putrid. I do not recognize Mississippi State Basketball anymore. Thanks to Scott Stricklin, Mississippi State Basketball is dead. Firing Stansbury was the worst decision in MSU Basketball history. And look where it got us: we are the only SEC team to be in the Wednesday Play in games every year since SEC Tournament Expansion. We suck.
Is this a melt? Probably but I need the SEC to know how bad MSU Men's Basketball is. Any game this team wins would stun me because sadly this isn't even a bubble CBI team. They are just bad. Have fun on Saturday Auburn. If any fans show up it will be an Auburn home game for you because no MSU fans will be there.

Mississippi State is one of only 3 SEC teams in this century to beat UConn(LSU and Tennessee)
Several SEC teams like South Carolina who have had multiple opportunities have never defeated UConn.
The amount of exposure and revenue we get from making the Final Four more than makes up for it.
And since it is easier to win a title in this sport since no one cares about it, I would rather be good at this. At least it is not infested with the AAU BS and the top teams actually want to play like a team.

Since 1995, only 8 different teams have won a WBB title. In that time, only 3 teams have won multiple titles.
The shite is on par with Volleyball or Water Polo in difficulty of actually winning a title.

LSU women's basketball went to 5 straight final fours from 2004-2008, you know how I know that? I just had to look it up on wikipedia because I didn't watch a single minute of any of those seasons either.

Ben Howland is a substantially more proven coach and was a good hire.

I can honestly say I have never watched more than 2 minutes of a women's basketball game since I was a kid. My mom used to take me to games. Wasn't by choice.
