I feel like none of you watched the Kentucky- Mississippi State game last year when you pick them to win. Wr completely dismantled them.

The first time Mike Leach has EVER been held scoreless on offense in his entire head coaching career..

And we've only improved things. But sure, pick State ??

Bo Nix has thrown for 515 yds 4 TDs and no INTs vs Miss State in his only 2 years, 2021 wont be any different.

Might not be different than 2020--Nix was 15 of 32 for 125 yards, 1 TD and a QBR of 54.0.

UK had only 157 total yards in that game (State had 295).

State threw 6 interceptions against UK including two pick 6's, and you won't get that in 2021--State only threw 4 interceptions total in our last 6 games. State isn't just getting better in 2021 by prediction, State showed they got better in the second half of the 2020 season. Would loved to have played UK in December.

This claim is patently incorrect.

Let's look at State's regular season out-of-conference foes since 2009, Dan Mullen's first season in Starkville. I'll highlight the P5 or major independent teams (Notre Dame, BYU, Army, etc.).
2009 - Jackson State, Georgia Tech, Houston, Middle Tennessee State
2010 - Memphis, Alcorn State, Houston, UAB
2011 - Memphis, Louisiana Tech, UAB, Tennessee-Martin
2012 - Jackson State, Troy, South Alabama, Middle Tennessee State
2013 - Oklahoma State, Alcorn State, Troy, Bowling Green
2014 - Southern Miss, UAB, South Alabama, Tennessee-Martin
2015 - Southern Miss, Northwestern State, Troy, Louisiana Tech
2016 - South Alabama, UMass, BYU, Samford
2017 - Charleston Southern, Louisiana Tech, BYU, UMass
2018 - Stephen F. Austin, Kansas State, UL-Lafayette, Louisiana Tech
2019 - UL-Lafayette, Southern Miss, Kansas State, Abilene Christian

Just 5/44 of State's regular season, out-of-conference games since 2009 have come against Power 5 teams or BYU. On the other hand, State has played Sun Belt or Conference USA teams 24/44 times (more than 50% of the time).

In conclusion,

In conclusion, you're ignorant or just plain dumb. Everybody plays weak OOC games and have for years. We play in the SEC West and have played Alabama more than anyone else, along with other top 10 football powers, every year. I'll trade our schedule for anyone else's outside the SEC West on any year.

Man, what planet are you living on?
Leach will be our coach until 2030 or longer (He will retire at State).

I don't think you understand our fanbase.

It's a home game for us. What happened the last time you played in Starkville?

You needed 6 interceptions to pull away in the fourth quarter and were held to 157 yards. Almost half of your yards came on the first drive of the game before our defense completely shut you down. You basically had two pick 6s. (One true pick 6 and another returned to the 2). Kentucky won the game, but it wasn't a dismantling.

State will beat Kentucky by 3 scores this year.

What the hell does last year's game have to do with this year's game? But, since you mentioned it let's examine last year's "dismantling". We almost doubled UK in yards(295-157). Kentucky had 84 rushes on 32 attempts. That includes a Terry Wilson 51 yard run on a busted 3rd down and 13 scramble. Take that away and it's 33 yarrds on 31 attempts. Kentucky was 8-21 passing for only 73 yards. That's some dismantling right there. The only reason Kentucky won that game was because of the turnover machine called KJ Costello. If this game was played a month later with Will Rogers as the starter the score is reversed. Yeah, you could say the mighty UK defense created those turnovers, but no they didn't. Costello threw shite right to them. If past year's matter as you say Kentucky also hasn't won in Starkville since 08 when Croom was coach. The average scores in those games are State-33 Kentucky-15. I'll safely pick State to win, and win easily.

I think you need to check out the mighty Rebels schedules over the same time period. In one of those years two FCS programs were played in the same year. Typical Ole Miss "pot meet kettle" bullshite.
